  1. Origi done. So much for saving the wild card till wk 37.
  2. Can't see them getting anything from Leicester.
  3. Good News: Aguero triple captain. Bad News: Everybody else.
  4. Yup. It's a pointless argument, obviously. The nice thing is that both of the teams that are likely to win the league would be "fairytale" in their/our own way. Both our wage bills are dwarfed by Man U, Man C, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool, but to partially balance that out we have both had luck with refereeing and injuries. Leicester have definitely benefited more from this, and I'd certainly argue that we play the better football, but we also have the advantage of a higher wage bill, so that's only to be expected. Both of us have very likeable managers. Of course, it just depends upon how you define the "best" team, but honestly, we both deserve it. I just can't see us pulling the deficit back. I maintain that Leicester aren't suddenly going to start losing because they're missing one player, and their home games look fairly straightforward. Win those and they're Champions, and fully deserved ones at that.
  5. Five points is such a big gap with four left. Vardy or no, I just can't see them not winning against Swansea, which I think will virtually seal it. We face the usual frantic stuff against a London team who will be desperate to beat us, then Southampton who are looking pretty strong and likewise have something of a point to prove (Poch). Even if we win all four, we could still fall short...and I can't see us winning all four. The margins are too slim. All it would take would be one mistimed tackle and it could all be over. If Leicester fail to beat Swansea and we beat West Brom, I might fancy our chances. If they win then I think it's theirs.
  6. Still Vertonghen. I'm not sure what could beat that.
  7. Same reason they boo Ramsey - they got Stoke players sent off by being badly fouled. The bastards.
  8. Quite. In this case, if they'd given a foul then there's an argument that you send the defender off...and Vardy and Ranieri know that perfectly well. It's obvious, and it's something Vardy and Mahrez have been systematically doing all season. You guys know that all too well after your game at Leicester. The wrestling at set pieces by Huth and Morgan is deliberate and calculated too. All that happened was that a ref finally called them out on it.
  9. Triple captain Aguero...and everybody else is 1 or 0.
  10. I've never seen anything like it.
  11. Well I hope so cos I've moved up to 8th, but squad rotation is going to stitch a few people up. I've got Fosu-Menhah, Coutinho and Origi .
  12. On 53 pts so far. 51 of those are from Aguero .
  13. Good job I got Lukaku and Barkley in last week. FFS.
  14. http://i.imgur.com/hdIJUOC.png That's Captain Lukaku to you. Hennessey was a hell of a get though.
  15. Yep. I don't really think of Kane as a Young Player candidate, which is testament to how amazing he's been.
  16. http://www.joe.co.uk/sport/watch-the-18-man-brawl-which-marred-a-game-between-aston-villa-and-west-hams-u21-teams/52050 Love a good punch-up.
  17. I never take much notice of youth results at this time of the season. Academies are often moving the younger kids up an age group in preparation for the next season.
  18. Have you got lots of kids out on loan, like Armstrong?
  19. + The whole thing has been a pisstake from day one.
  20. Rested for Dortmund I hear. So my transfers in this week were Barkley and Coutinho...and Barkley might not play in the second game. Nice work.
  21. Somebody just reminded me of this: http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2015/09/02/neil-warnock-makes-blunt-assessment-of-tottenhams-squad/ Not only has Pardew failed, but he failed with a better squad of players than us.
  22. It would be nice if we could put pressure on Leicester...but we're playing the next three Mondays. Bit of a pain.
  23. Genuine question - where did Coutinho disappear to this week? Rested?
