They’ve been good all through qualifying, just can’t get results. Northern Ireland played really well to beat them.
-
That slap of O'Shea when he fucks with CR is just perfect. Arrogant and childish.
-
I rather like the Kevin Rodrigues one.
-
Lovely goal. I like that he’s gone “fuck it, if we don’t have any CFs that are good enough we’ll just play without one.” It’s worked tbh.
-
There have been a couple of moments where Eze and Bellingham have been maybe a bit too close but generally those two and Foden have moved really well.
-
Henderson has been absolutely fine whenever he’s come on tbf. Some lovely moves now.

I understand there was history:
-
Please tell me it was a funny one.

Would be very Tuchel if after all that’s been said this week we see Bellingham, Foden and Kane on the pitch.

For a big bunch of lads Serbia do quite a lot of crying. Rashford has flattered to deceive a bit I think tonight. Once again some good dangerous running but his decision-making is still not good enough and too many times he didn’t use his left when he should have and the opportunity was lost. O’Reilly was nervous at first but has grown into it. Rogers has been good in patches but Serbia have worked hard to stifle him.
-
Serbia so much better organized than they were at home. They got it so completely wrong.
-
Kane coming deep is fucking brilliant.
-
Fuck me that was confidently played out.
-
Wonder if Rashford heard something go in the Serbian’s knee there.
-
Yeah sorry. The avatar isn’t totally clear.
-
Saka just wants a break so he can be fit against us.
-
It’s about as wet as one. Lovely goal. This England team is quite good.
-
Pickford down completely out of the blue. Wonder if this is tactical
-
The Serbian team are the worst singers I have ever heard.
-
Looking forward to this tonight. Hopefully England and Albania both win so the last game is a dead rubber. Will be interesting to see how Bellendham plays when he gets on - hopefully it works well.
-
Yep. They’ve won five of the last six, but before that (when we were better) they won four of the previous 15 or 16.

At this level I would presume that it's all relatively similar. The wild card would potentially be somebody like Ange where he just does his own thing but he also seemed to delegate coaching to a greater degree than many so who knows? The effects of workload on players at the top level have been studied extensively and with the amounts of money available and at stake I would guess there is not a huge amount of variance. Would appreciate some genuine insight too. I suspect the key differentiators would be: Style/complexity of tactics Time management team has been at the club - is it a new manager who has to inculcate new ideas or is it somebody who's been in the position for years and everybody is well drilled Time players have been at the club/experience - are you integrating lots of new players to a team? Are they young and/or inexperienced in the PL Injuries In a team with established management and players and few injuries (e.g. Arsenal) then you can probably reduce training significantly when you're playing twice a week without a massive impact. If any of those factors are different it becomes more of a complex balancing act. Howe and the team have been at the club for a while and the players and tactics have not changed too much so that helps, but the injuries are a bugger.

Uniquely good? That's quite an assertion
-
Quite. "Sorry lads, Stifler doesn't want to wear a Mackem shirt. Guess it's Plan B - chain him naked to a lamppost on the single lane section of the A1 north of Alnwick".
-
It's genuinely one of the reasons why we're in this spot tbh.
