People weren't allowed to get coconut-water ffs because of FIFA. Bunch of idiots. Until referees across the continent are capable of being far more accurate in their decisions I would steer clear of this. It would have far too much impact on the game for my liking. A license to cheat. I don't mean more competent refs necessarily, I just think we're at a stage where the ref's job is harder than it's ever been. Unless they have support from extensive use of replays I just think this idea is a recipe for disaster.

I hate Sunday football. In October, November, December and January we will have played at least 24 games. Of those, precisely two will have been on a Saturday. It's f***ing rubbish. Our last Sat game was Sep 28th, our next one will be at the Stadium of s****, some time in December.

That's ace though - I love those early morning games over here. (or I would if I wasn't working a night shift tonight which finishes at 0730.)
