There's about 35k paying £10 pa to be on the waiting list so, in theory, we should be able to fill it. There may have to be some creative thinking with regards to some matches, the Arse charge £10 for League Cup games and I could imagine Levy doing something similar. Yeah, I think we're going to have to try something like that. There will be an initial flush of interest, particularly if we're still doing well on the pitch, but there are already signs that the fans have less disposable income available. I'd like to see a concerted effort to draw young fans in, especially if we're going to exploit that "Kop" end (which looksmint).

That's really not an inspiring squad. Not that he has a huge amount of choice in the matter.

Surprised there's only one vote for Wilshere. None for Charlie Adam either, the thug. Edit: I take it back, see Wilshere has started to pick up some momentum.

Well, quite. Two games in the Europa we should have absolutely caned the oppo, yet we'll probably end up with two points.

Getting a bit sick of these games. Why can't we just put a side away? Will be interesting to see if Ade makes a difference, but we need someone to compete with Bale/Lennon who can actually put the ball into the net consistently.

The press will no doubt think it is disrespectful to him. "He's not playing, he must be frustrated." "He's playing, it's a second-rate competition, he must be frustrated." *sigh*.

Continental manager. Absolutely. I'm chuffed, really. I reckon he's looking to win two or three then blood some kids in the group stage. We certainly should have beaten Lazio. It's difficult to know exactly what the best approach is, but despite lots of injuries our squad should be big enough to deal with playing the extra game midweek. Famous last words.

Couldn't agree more Means we could play then in EL though.... Sure they didn't field anything like a first XI in the EL last season and went out pretty much straight away Not exactly - they stuffed Porto but then mucked it up against Sporting Lisbon, who won on away goals. Their second XI costs over a hundred million pounds anyway.

Man City in the Europa

Rights, TV going off now.

Wish I didn't have Arsenal as my only option.

Shit-loads of short passes though. It just shows that they've had a lot of the ball - again, the percentage of lb vs sp is the key (13% as opposed to Stoke's 26%).
-
They might discount the hopeless punts (I have no idea). It seems like a reasonable starting point for debate though - I mean, I'd expect Man U, Arsenal, Man C, Swansea and Southampton to be roughly where they are based on simply watching games. It can't be that bad of a stat. The percentage of long vs short would be a better indication - e.g. Stoke 25.8%, Newcastle 23.4%. That's still quite a lot. It's not blasphemy to suggest that you've not been playing great passing football so far this season, with extenuating circumstances such as Colocinni and Cabaye's injuries. Which brings me to: Need to play a hell of a lot better than we have so far, Alan. Have we played a fully fit team yet? maybe Spurs but not sure The point is, surely, that virtually no-one has. Everton maybe. Everybody has had injuries, most have been missing someone crucial, but you have to expect that in a season. You have to prepare for it, which is why it seems insane to me that (a) you didn't get another CB in (b) you didn't keep Best/get another CF in.

Tickets for the away end at the Arsenal v Spurs match have just been announced. £62. Jesus. How much did you guys get charged last year?
-
That would have been SWP you big racist. I just couldn't remember how he'd played in the rest of the game. No wonder, since he didn't.
-
He just came on That makes sense then
-
I've only been half-watching, but every time I look up Hoilett has been shite. Has this actually been the case?
-
QPR really do have some clever midfielders.

Nolan makes sure he gets it.

Some classy bookings now .

Plenty of composure, no quality.
