  1. Naah, it's a French team, it's 75% now.
  2. Yeah, the worst is the Select Group: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Select_Group_Referees
  3. Ref blew for a free kick on the keeper, keeper put it down and strolled back to take it, Eto'o ran up and stuck it in the net. He hadn't realized it was a free kick. Maybe.
  4. Shit-loads of karma saved up for the rest of the season.
  5. Remember when Tiresias was the most knowledgeable poster since Ronaldo? Townsend is injured.
  6. Ouch. Even less confident of getting anything now.
  7. It means Chelsea et al can do whatever the fuck they want.

  9. I would be very disappointed if we sold Holtby. I would be livid if it was for 6M Euros. He's got plenty of time to develop.
  10. Every time I think "that's a decent score" I come on here and loads of people are posting about the shit-loads of points they have and that they still have five players to play etc etc .
  11. They looked good against us, well organized and committed. I mean, we were shite, but at least some of that was down to them. Wouldn't be at all surprised to see them stay up now.
  12. Decent day - 53 with Zabaleta, Yaya and Terry still to come. Mind you, I hope Yaya and Zabaleta end up with minus points, naturally.
  13. Yep, me too. All my injured players are coming back now though, so it's barely worth it .
  14. Still hanging onto my wildcard just in case - can see a couple of big injuries this week. Hopefully Suarez...
  15. My first reaction was that there are plenty of players we have who you could pick up, but maybe on loan. I really like Capoue, but Levy will be asking for £10M. A better and more likely option might be Holtby on loan.
  16. Spot on. We'll sell him this window I reckon, too good an opportunity to cash in big. We aren't getting relegated and there's no chance we'll make up 6pts to challenge for a European spot either. We have Norwich on Tuesday, Everton have Liverpool away. That could be 3 points with a home game against a bottom three team to follow. Wish people would have more faith in us even if the people above don't man. We've got Man City too, plus some more tough games before a nice run-in...which will be complicated by everyone fighting against relegation. It's still wide open.
  17. I hope you never complain when Man U are called "United" .
  18. I don't think it's so much your atrocious luck with injuries - Arsenal and ourselves have consistently been up there too - more that your squad isn't quite as strong, so you've found it harder to cope. I'm hoping that people like Rose, Vertonghen, Sandro, Paulinho, Townsend etc will be a bit fresher because of the layoffs, but there are still so many questions over Sherwood. It looks like a fantastic battle for 4th.

    Football pet hates

I have some sympathy with this, but nobody is making the obvious point that the home team get an extra 30 minutes at their home ground, in front of their own fans. It doesn't seem a totally unreasonable trade-off. Who's to say though, that if Man Utd had 120 minutes at the SoL, they wouldn't have scored again? Well nobody, but that's not the point. The argument was that the away team in the second leg gets an unfair advantage under the rules. My point was that that advantage is mitigated somewhat by the home team getting an extra 30 mins at their own pitch.

    Sunderland

I was going to say orange, but that's a colour too.
  21. He vowed that the tournament will not be built "on the blood of innocents". Too fucking late, pal, it already is.
  22. They're all problem areas, that's what's so ace .
