This. And from here. I was well chuffed when I saw they were trying to unsettle him. I can picture the RAWK meltdown now.
-
Well, if you think they're making that up, then good luck to you.
-
Charlie Adam yet again trying to break Bale.

This is how:

 Brilliant. Ach, fuck it, going to quote it again because it's ace.
-
...and apparently I don't have MSNBC. Bollocks.
-
Sweet, cheers.

Any US guys know if this is on anywhere?

Oh God yeah, what was her name, Aluko? Poor woman, should have been taken off after five minutes.

I quite like him. I think it stems from his commentaries for Capital in the 80s and 90s, where he was mad enthusiastic but knowledgeable with it. Better radio commentator than TV commentator, but at least he shows some insight. Compared to f***ing Alan Green he's the commentators' Messiah. its the superior tone he takes that does it for me, like one motd when Lampard gave a good performance and he asked in a very very very superior tone of voice asks how anyone could ever dare write off frank lampard Ach, that's a pity. Live abroad now and so never get to hear him - sounds like he may have gone the way of so many before him.

Rose is really just not very good. Never has been, never will be. There's a reason why we're getting that Fryers kid from Man U.

As long as this whole thing ends up unsettling Liverpool badly then I'm happy.
-
Cheers VI. Could be interesting then, but how much would it cost to prise him away?

Widely reported at the time (January 2011), with quotes from old 'arry backing it up (the offer, not necessarily the amount). The reporting was all based on one Sun article IIRC. I absolutely do not believe that we would have offered 25M for Carroll, just as I do not believe we offered 30M (or whatever it was supposed to be) for Rossi. Anyway, Hoilett. Useful squad player, if he's happy with that and the wages it would bring - but I wouldn't have in in my first XI.
-
It's Marca, of course, but what do you think of Cazorla? Might fit our 433 really well I guess, but I just haven't seen enough of him to say. The main issue I have is that it wouldn't address the three main worries atm - striker, potential Modric replacement, GK - and it would take a big chunk out of our budget. Edit: Sorry, I meant to ask why they thought he was a Modric replacement. Isn't he a completely different kind of player?
-
Possibly, but Caulker will probably stay. That will leave us with Vertonghen, Kaboul, Dawson, Caulker, and Bassong. That's OK by me.
-
Well yeah, for them, obviously.
-
Yeah. TBH, I think it's all right, not sure what people think is so horrible (though I am a bit of an Adidas fanboy). Can't see if the back is all red though - which would be a bit rubbish.
-
We bid 25M? Eh?
-
Has Clint just become a dick? You've not been watching closely. He's been a bit of a dick for years.
-
How does a signing ban work, if all the players have gone?
-
I'm sure it would be written into the contract that we couldn't benefit from the clause in that way Think it's 25% of any profit they make. So if they got £45m we would get £2.5m. If they got £35m or less we would get f*** all Can we get this pinned to the top of the forum? Why on earth would there be a clause for 25% of profit, how much did they think liverpool were going to sell him for This from the same management team that claimed he was worth f*** all. It'll be 25% of any sale Why on earth would there be a clause for 25% of any sale? Liverpool were already giving you 35M for Carroll . 25% of profit would be considerably more likely.
