  1. Shows the difference when the pressures off a bit as they expect to lose anyway, they just go for it more err I think it has more to do with the fact that we're playing against 10 men Gutierrez putting in class crosses is down to them having less men? Not sure how you've worked that one out

  3. This is great for our spirit regardless atm, if we can get more back even better
  4. Yup we've actually looked relatively dangerous, show we are capable when we go for it. Need that positive mentality
  5. Class pen that like, Barton stepping up again. Cmon lads, sort this goal difference might be v important
  6. Theyre fired up now atleast, more like the newcastle we knew.
  7. Hey guys, that sturridge guy has scored again for bolton Wahey !
  8. Suppose the one positive is we've actually looked relatively dangerous on the few occasions we've attacked. Been unlucky the way the balls fallen on some of the set pieces.
  9. Nolan had nothing to do with any of the goals man, wake up you're talking nonsense. Its just been piss poor defending.
  10. Its the same midfield that beat them 1-0, but yeah its all Nolan ofc. It looks to me that Nolan is up front, with Loven wide and Barton in the middle. It's not Nolan's fault we're getting hammered in midfield. Fair enough only just started watching towards end of that half. So our midfield is actually far more mobile than last time, but its nowt to do with team spirit atall.

  12. Shows how much mentality comes into football. Same players are getting destroyed, the Carroll transfer has clearly affected things badly. Just as all the negativity from our relegation season did at the time.
  13. Only just checked the score f*** sake. Thought we'd atleast put up a fight
  14. The problem with knowing Ashleys intentions right now, are that the same tactics of buying/scouting impressive younger players on the cheap with loads of potential..developing them etc. Can both be used to create a cheaper side full of quality that you want to improve the club, as create a side full of players whos price tags will inevitably go flying up that you can cash in on as people keep saying. He claims he wants to follow Arsenals model, yet as a side that is far below them & then is apparently likely to sell anyone that starts to look impressive because of our position. It doesnt add up atall. There hasnt been a real sign of ambition since he signed Coloccini. If we start selling off our other players after making 35m on Carroll, i dont see there being much doubt about it that hes simply using our club as a tool to make money on the cheap rather than actually wanting to advance us as a side.
  15. Those quotes, absolutely pointless. Basically invites bids with his first line as has been said, no reason to say that atall regardless of what happens. Hes encouraged it. They keep trying to put themselves in a position of "oh poor us, all these sides might try and buy our players...what can we possibly do, this isnt our fault in anyway" Same thing they did with Carroll. Craig basically stated all day nonsense like "this transfer request has caught Newcastle very offguard, Ashley trying his best to fight off bids" Ofcourse it comes out afterwards that this is all complete bs. Its pathetic stuff.

    Leon Best

I dont think the fulham game was a solid basis to write him off. We put barely any crosses in & didnt really get behind them atall. Against West ham he formed a good partnership with Loven using his pace to get behind, might be worth trying that & using Nile as an impact player again.

    Ambition

Entirely dependant on our ability to replace his goals with players who will win us matches in the same manner. Dont know why people keep trying to point out how good the amount of money we got for him is, you're not going to find a single football fan let alone Newcastle fan who is claiming we didnt get enough for him. No one is unsure of this transfer because of that.

  19. Be interesting this. Under Hughton we'd probably go out fired up and give them a good game. Lost 3-0 to Man U, Beat villa 6-0. Lose 2-0 to bpool, Beat Everton 1-0. Lose 2-1 to Stoke, deserved a draw atleast v Man City. Lose 5-1 to Bolton, draw 1-1 with Chelsea. Lose 3-1 to West Brom, Beat Liverpool 3-1. Familiar Pattern. Under Pardew we've yet to see, so will tell a lot i think.

    Alan Pardew

He obviously told them to press the ball which they did well, we didnt give them much time first half atall. We just didnt do anything useful with it. Kept trying to play the ball to the feet of Ranger & Best with their back to goal, theyre never going to do anything from there. We needed to get the ball out wide & whip crosses across goal. The only time we managed it was Simpson & Ranger nearly scored.
  21. Im still living in Hope of Ranger magically turning into a striking powerhouse overnight ala Carroll.
