  1. Will people keep stopping with this s***. We ARE trying because we don't want to get relegated. You would have to be a right idiot to think they are sitting around making "fake bids". Do it in the middle of the window then, not right in the end when it's likely to not accepted and you know that going in and the only reason to do it is make it look like you are trying. I'm sorry but if they were serious but they wouldn't wait till the deadline for some one who is out of favour anyway. Eh? Why would you put your top offer in the middle of the window? Makes sense for both sides to wait it out tbh Only reason for West Brom not to is if they were determined to replace him if sold as he's a key player so they'd need to replace that. But hes not been for them this season. They're in no worse situation if they sell the lad, they'd be losing a disruptive influence supposedly.

    Seydou Doumbia

Well he's scored against Man City 3 times & Man Utd once 5 goals and an assist in his last 201 mins against Man City.

    Seydou Doumbia

His goalscoring stats are the one thing that sticks out about him. Other than the brief time at Rome. Averages a goal around every 110 minutes I read. Talking of that people keep talking about how badly he did at Roma. In the 13 games he played, 4 of those appearances were 8 minutes or less. Another 3 were under 24 minutes. So basically 2 goals in 6 normal games. Ignoring that one of those he also played right wing apparently. Context is important if you're going off about stats. Doesnt sound like hes had much of a chance there atall & his champions league record against top sides looks superb to me. The same sort of arguments Marseille fans could be making in Thauvin's favour about now? Thauvin wasnt excelling previously though, so not really no. Saying that, theres still an argument to be had that hes not had a chance here yeah. Let alone if he'd had a couple of assists in his few chances as Doumbia has goals in his few starts at Roma.

This seems like a class signing to me
  6. His stats really arent that bad for last season when you take into account how many minutes he actually played. Hes not had a consistant run in that spurs team & when hes played a normal amount of minutes hes done alright.
  7. Hes clearly not had a decent run at spurs for a while. He only managed to play 45+ minutes in a prem or cup match 15 times last season & he scored or assisted in 8 of them. Thats pretty good. Played left wing 4 times & got 2 assists and a goal. Im happy with transfer myself, we could really do with pace on the left & he offers another player who can actually take set pieces. His weaker right foot doesnt seem that bad either going off that strike against Italy.
  8. Reality is he got Wickham an average striker & hasnt gotten anywhere near the best out of him. Gayle was their best striker, yet he wants to sell him. He has 1 goal from a striker all season from a penalty and he's been in charge of transfers. Whos to blame now Alan mate?
  9. Very good result, just got in. Suprised. Glad the new lads did superbly.
  10. We've signed two central midfielders lads, Colback wont keep his place. Stop worrying.

    Florian Thauvin

Really bizarre. He's looked pretty good in the games i saw him play? Delivered some cracking crosses and just generally got about. Mcclaren didnt want to put Aarons in either when fit though. Whole thing is odd for a side that could do with a left winger.
  12. He's a perfect 10 but he wears a 12 Dont need the hair of number 2 to see That 8 or 9, he'd find them in the Tyne He's like a bauble on a Xmas tree Cos we like our buys, in different guises They're never french, except all the time We're in a hole, and surrounded by lies Atleast I know this, I'm not Mike Ashley's sizeee It's a work in progress
  13. The 2nd was massively Mbembas fault. Gave the ball away from a ridiculous position, then jogged back in slow motion and let Lingaard run right past him. Colo did average, but hard to mark rooney and then a passing runner aswell. No idea why he didnt read that Rooney would take it onto his stronger foot before the pass though. Still he had a superb game beyond that tbh
  14. Cant buy a goal in the league without Bolasie.
  15. Hopefully does well, certainly has more ability than our current central midfielders. We're never the side to sort out any indiscipline or mentality issues for him though
  16. He's obviously learnt to do things a certain way in business and that isnt necessarily replicable when owning a football team. I imagine due to his huge reluctance to work closely with anyone foreign, that he is exactly the same at sports direct. Its not that he goes out looking for shite managers, its likely that they're simply English. Saying that, i cant see him hiring the likes of Garry Monk. Harry Redknapp is the kind he goes for, older, bit of a geeza m8. He wouldnt have been cheap so its not just money. He's comes across a bit xenophobic when it comes to who he puts in power. Same with our obsession with France. He's just found where he can source his goods for cheapest, so our entire transfer strategy is based around it.
  17. Got 93 minutes over the next 4 games. 28 the game after this one. Classic Pardew.
  18. I dont think taking him off after that miss was great management really. Players need confidence & less pressure, you get the complete opposite if you miss a chance and then get subbed & dropped. He's not going to come on as a sub and be calm as fuck now if he gets a chance is he, he's gonna shit himself. His lungs have already failed him twice, now the manager takes him out if he makes a mistake. The psychology of it is all against the lad. He needs to have balls of steel to make a career for himself here now, by coming back into the picture & taking any chances he has instantly even though hes barely played football in this league.
  19. And he's not done too bad a job. Shows what a toxic club NUFC are. Hes made them work hard defensively & "graft" a lot, thats about it. Their top scorer is Cabaye: 5, three of those pens. They have 1 from a striker, another pen. (Mint record) And six from defenders at set pieces. And we all know Alan's the expert behind those set pieces obviously. There is no attacking style of play as a side, just fast wingers. Give them the ball, get pen, corner or the odd goal. Try score on corner. Proper detailed stuff. No suprise they lose their best one and stop scoring. No individual talent, no goals. Might get the odd pen via Zaha or from a corner if hes lucky. But yeah, you're busy calling our club Toxic in support of this shite. Laughable.
  20. He was a sycophant. The guy who devoted wins to the owner in the face of pressure against him due to how he acted in the transfer windows, now coming out from the safety of a new job critizing the same shite the fans were at the time. The guy is a joke. There is one word which sums up Alan Pardew and why he should be disliked by all our fans: Enabler. At a very minimum he is the one who stood in following a good honest manager & enabled all of the shite which has now turned Newcastle into what it is. From the transfer strategy, to the team ethic, to the team mentality. He supported it in public when fans tried to put on pressure to protect himself over the club.
  21. Yawn. Lose two players, game finished before it starts. Classic AP. Are you ever going to take off your Alan Pardew goggles of hysteria and look at things objectively? Right, but they've had Cabaye for the last two games against Bournemouth and Swansea. But this time it's excusable and not related atall? Why in the world would you be trying to excuse the guy who's helped turn our club into a shell of itself to advance his own career? Genuine question.
