  1. Yeah he is all of them.
  2. What like the 'contact us' page on Everton's website? No.
  3. Yeah, worth every penny just for that tbh
  4. junkhead is absolutely spot on. I find it difficult to fathom the words to describe just how shit Alan Smith is.
  5. Sven has some unnervingly good connections like.

Apparently when Plymouth scored their second they had 8 men on the pitch. 1 sent off, 1 injured and another changing boots at the sideline

Was that before or after Plymouth scored in the first minute tonight? Huddersfield 3-2 up and it's not even half time http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_div_2/9354110.stm Absolutely nee way that possession stat can be right.
  8. Cannit even take a throw-in.
  9. So it is definitely off then? Are we taking Radio Newcastle's word on this one?
  10. Not sure what to make of this. Krul had a poor game, of that there is no doubt, but isn't part of the manager's job to instil confidence in his players going forward? I can't see him referring to Harper as 'the goalkeeper' and effectively saying he's not good enough for the club. Fuck me, that's horrendous. Just seen this. Stu's right, it's not just bad management it's fucking disgraceful. How can he single out Krul (without even using first name or second name terms like he does with seemingly everybody else) for that abomination of a display. Why not single out the uselessnes of the forwards to hold the ball? or his captain's inability to take grip of the game? or Alan Smith's inability to resemble anything close to a footballer? Fair enough if he'd been directly asked about Krul, then his comments would have been acceptable (although still not exactly great management imo), but to do it out of context like that and in that manner is shocking imo. Borderline bullying. Maybe I'm reading too much into it but I don't think that sounds great whatsoever.
  11. taxfree wants us to sign nobody unless they were seemingly atleast nominated for WPOTY.
  12. It was because paperwork wise a loan deal was far easier to complete than a permanent transfer wasn't it? Seem to remember we proceeded to complete it permanently that night.
  13. For what it's worth I was genuinely told that stuff by a lad who works for Birmingham. Truthfully though I was about as confident in it from the start as as you lot were.
  14. Aye must be shit playing for Man United and Brazil. I'd be fighting off the depression if that was me.
  15. Talk about it enough and it might, just might happen!
  16. I never said it's inevitable he'll pick them up every game without fail. I said it's inevitable he'll pick up some yellow cards. If he avoided yellows every game that would mean for example he'd shirk the opportunity to make a professional foul at a crucial time. The best players in the world at his position pick up yellow cards, it's part and parcel of the position. If he was coming out of a season with say less than 5 yellows then IMO he's simply not applying himself at the highest level. He's actively involved for 90 minutes, making challenges, pressuring the ball covering miles of ground in the process. He is going to pick up yellow cards, however overall it will win us more points than it will cost us and is a good thing. Maybe he could have a few less, but then I think he's been harshly done by for about half of his cards so he's already at an acceptable level.
  17. The injustice is bad enough without the ridiculous inconsistency.
  18. Laughable that he was praised for playing well? Bollocks.
  19. Why is Redknapp trying to sign midfielders?
  20. At which point he was still our best bet for a goal. Sad but true. Still was the right decision to let him go, he did nothing after that.
  21. I'd rather play the tattoo clad gutless Scouse anti-christ/Hitler hybrid baby freestyling sworn enemy of neesy than Smith.
