Independent results and performances don't really change that factor, you could also pick out the Wigan - Blackpool result and say that Wigan are dreadful and there is nothing to worry about.

You must be joking. I even feel that way about most of our games, however much on edge I am. I suppose, but I still enjoy them regardless of what they do to emotions. I don't think I can ever describe watching a football match as a 'long hard slog'. I pretty much enjoy every game I watch, even if it's poor. I actually enjoy watching Serie A just as much as I do the Premier League on a whole. They're both different styles, but each throw up their fair share of dross.
