  2. I'd agree, but Jamie McClen didn't go through with his move there.
  3. He would move to Newcastle. He's said as much on his Facebook. We'll let this one flutter by. Talented player borderline begging for a chance to play for us and we'll let it go.
  4. Crawley look really dodgy. Sergio Torres who played against us last season in the Championship, for a 6 figure sum. No way that can end well financially.
  5. Good result for them, they had a lad on trial from Bermuda playing - quite the culture shock for him coming over to Gateshead from there Will be interesting to see how the Heed get on next season.
  6. Perch can play CB aswell according to Wiki. I wouldn't begrudge a quality CB coming in, just not somebody who's 36 and legs are going, going, gone... If it was at all possible Onuoha would be a godsend.
  7. I'd be gutted if we went after him. So er...
  8. Yesssss, England in the final. All those British goals have carried us there.
  9. Used to play there before he moved to Europe iirc.
  10. Surprised WBA weren't tempted to give him another go in the Premier League. Especially after watching him perform so well last season.
  11. Selling their captain out of the blue is a strange one like. RTG is probably flipping right now.
  12. I know, I was just hazarding a guess. 2000 didn't he win the EC and CL? Ah right, nah CL win was in 2001-2002. Barca were the first Spanish club to win the treble aswell, same goes for Man U as English and Inter for Italy. 'The big 4' has never been done (Treble and WC). Although like VI said Spain won the Euros and then the Barca players went on to win the treble. Madrid won in 2000. They beat Valencia. So in that year he won the CL and EC, but not the league. He won that a year later. Shame h was playing Juve at the time then EDIT: Whoops, bit late.
  13. Lorik Cana > Galatasaray.

  15. In France they even have different kit makers for the Coupe de France, or atleast they did. Couple of year ago they were all made by Adidas and had the same kit templates.
  16. I think he meant all of them in 1 season.
  17. Xavi really deserves it. Should be Messi for me, even if he didn't really win any international competitions. If Holland win it will be Sneijder though; he may not deserve it, but it's hard to ignore the fact he would have won every single competition he was involved in this season and have been quite instrumental in doing so... Has anybody ever accomplished that feat (winning 4 out of 4 competitions including CL and WC (or EC) I mean)? He'll be the first to do it I think.
  18. I'd be pretty dissapointed if players saw Sunderland as a massive step up above us tbh.
  19. I'd rather have Klose as best ever World Cup goal scorer than that fat overweight Brazilien. 20. It's amazing the way VdS has extended his career like this. I mean, you almost forget he was at Fulham, and yet since then he's been integral to one of the most succesful sides of the last 20 years.
