  1. http://i27.tinypic.com/2usajrn.jpg Transfer deadline day is so s***.
  2. Different positions, but Hutton>A.Ferdinand.
  3. People running our club = bunch of unmitigated spacktards. That's an accurate response for most of these probing questions, no point trying to dig deeper.
  4. Well I'm off out until after 5, when I return I (blindly optimisticly) expect to see atleast 2 new faces in on loan, plus Mr. Rosenkrands Løvenkrands.
  5. If the reported transfer fees are correct we've probably recouped about £20-25 million. This has either been subsequently 'pocketed' by Mr. Ashley as some would like to believe, or has gone towards covering wages and other costs while we're in this division. What it wont be going towards is transfers.
  6. In the end though, who really cares whether Rhadi Jaidi is going to sign for Southampton?
  7. Really nervous as f*** about the Lovenkrands deal... It would be just like NUFC to have it fall through Doesn't have to be done by 5pm. Get it done or keep him occupied until it is too late for him to sign for Brimingham. He's got as long as he likes to sign for anybody. Window doesn't restrict free agents, whatever the Mirror fancies writing.
  8. Maicon, it's the four goalscorers.

    Xisco

I'm just surprised It's taken this long for one of our Spanish-speaking players to leave. I bet if you'd asked anybody after the Villa game, Xisco, Enrique, Gutierrez and Coloccini would have been the most common choices for early exits.
  10. This. Let them, the rest of the footballing world will continue as normal, only slightly more competitive. Would be mint.
  11. Holy shit! Witsel is class aswell.
  12. I'd be delighted with that. Spurs pissing away £5m AND a player for a player who can't pass, shoot, cross, or think on his feet. Dude, Muntari aint that bad. Muntari>>>Jenas
  13. They'll do well to accomplish that from Segunda Division
  14. I appreciate cristian's updates Does Sissoko still start regularly for Juve? Or has he been knocked out the team with Melo's arrival?
  15. Ohh, injured, banned? What's the craic?
  16. Barca are at home aren't they? And I think I'm right in thinking Iniesta is back? Should be a massacre if so, I'll go 5-0.
  17. Good try (no sarcasm), but Barça's youth setup is known as "La Masia" (it would be "La Cantera" anyway). The concern is that Henry really has no understudy, and if you buy, you should always aim to improve the incumbent. We were fantastically lucky last year with injuries, lack of depth is going to be a concern this year. Fuck, I actually went looking for a quote on a Barça forum so I got it right. The bastard was wrong. Yeah, Barça do seem to have a lack of depth. It just doesn't seem the Barça way to spend that kind of money on players, they get alot of respect for their reliance on youth and I wouldn't like to see Ibra level transfers happening all the time. What do you think of the 3 players I said, do they have the potential to be top class? From what I've seen of Assulin (very limited) he appears to be the Israeli Messi, not as good, but his style of play is almost identical.
  18. Don't know why Barca would want to spunk £40 Mill on Robinho. Henry is good for 1 more season atleast, and then one of Pedro, Assullin or Jeffren will likely develop into a winger of suitable quality. El Cantera is responsible for half of Barca's team, they should keep faith with it instead of feeling pressured by Real's stupid spending.
  19. I reckon Wigan will come good this season, Martinez is a good manager, better than Bruce. They need a striker though, relying on Scotland and Rodallega all season is suicide.
  20. Didn't realise Doninger had gone to Blyth, scored for them today in a 3-0 win.
  21. Oh wise Mirror, could you explain why there would be urgency for this deal to be done before Tuesday?
