I'd at least have Hayden and Gouffran in before Darlow. Maybe Yedlin too. Darlow has been average in what has been a relatively easy season for a GK. Gouffran

Yeah I actually think Ritchie's character is a greater attribute than his ability.

Not even been our best player, tbh.

Rafa is a bit stubborn, he has his system and way of playing and he absolutely needs the personnel for that system next year. Quality hardworking wide players, a pacey striker, at least one proper #10, an imposing central midfielder, two robust PL quality CBs who do the basics well. Could go on and on, but they spring to mind first and foremost. At the moment we're well short, and it shows most with the likes of Colback in the middle, and Gouffran out wide. Rafa wanted two players in those areas. He knows where we're short, and he'll know what we need when we go up and how much money it's going to take. The board have to back him. It didn't happen in January, they have one more chance to not piss him off, or any momentum the club has will go up in smoke.

Having watched Geoffrey Kondogbia's comical attempts at playing football for Inter, Sissoko would be a liablity at one of the decent Serie A sides. His style of play is perfectly suited the Premier League. Just closer to some middling club, like West Brom, or Stoke. Or us of the last 5 years, tbh.

Surprised he gets his mop chopped on Westgate road. I guess there's no Afro places in Ponteland.

We absolutely need a new, solid goalkeeper. I'd be going all out for somebody like Begovic. Darlow is adequate back-up, Krul and Sels can be sold to wherever and Jelliot jettisoned into the North Sea.

Yeah I can't see he'll go for that price, still got another couple of years to run on his contract.

The state of this league there's no doubt De Jong would have been useful this season.

We need to spend a fuckload like. It's a bit scary how few of this squad are good enough for anything more than relegation scrapping in the PL.
-
West Ham's problem is that they're basically playing 38 away games this season. That stadium, my god.

Aye Bayern seem to be the one that doesn't follow the rules. I distinctly remember watching CL highlights on Rai in Italy and every team had their proper name, except Bayern who were inexplicably called Bayern Monaco.
-
Why do you say the first bit in an English way and the second bit in the French way? Should say Paris saynt jorman if you really want to be consistent. This is true like, all or nothing.
-
All of this said I've seen Bayern called Bayern Munich in the UK, Bayern Muenchen in Germany, and Bayern Monaco in Italy - so maybe it's all just made up as we go along.
-
Nobody ever says Inter Milano. Have heard plenty Paree San Germain tbf to Madras. Might have even used myself in the past. 'Inter' and 'Milan' is the correct way.
-
Internazionale Milano AC Milan One uses the English name, the other the Italian. You don't ever call AC Milan: 'Milano', because while its an alternative name for the city, it is not an alternative name for the football club.

But the football club is named after the city, no ? It is, but it's a separate entity. Genova is the Italian name for the city, but the club uses the English name Genoa, so you don't change it back. In that one case yes but the others aren't are they ? I'm lost with what you're talking about here. Cities have different names, depending on language, because they are centuries old and fluid. Football club's are limited companies, who have an official name that is fixed.
