There's not a chance the likes of Burnley, Swansea, Palace, Boro etc could get close to 46k. Sunderland get cracking support, as do we, some of the highest in ALL of Europe. The constant attempts to denigrate the one thing they (and we tbh) have in our strength is ridiculous.

Aye, we had Alan Smith Unfortunately for us right now, Smith back then is a hell of a lot better player than Colback now, and Smith was certainly no world beater. Smith was ten times better than Colback man. No question. Especially in this league. You think opposition mids are more worried about Colback than they were Smith?! At least Smith had the athleticism to win headers and run them down, and at least force them into errors. Colback doesn't phase them one bit. You're such an eejit, like. Tbf I'm sure Kaka was present at loads of our Championship games in 09/10.

I'm not slagging Rafa, I'm just a bit disappointed. I thought without Shelvey we'd have some ideas to change it up and play more directly. To simply replace Shelvey with Colback and continue with the same system was asking for this.

Last time in the Championship we played 4-5-1 away and 4-4-2 at home. We didn't lose once at home all season. Rafa is too rigid and stubborn with his system.
