He's 5 ft 6, which as far as I'm aware would make him the smallest player in the Premier League. Lennon, Sanchez and Pedro off the top of my head might be around that height. But all have (or at least had in their careers) strong physical attributes to compensate. Younes is extremely slight, and while he's not slow he's not a speed merchant. More about drop of the shoulder and close control. He looks great in this Ajax team, but then they all do, as they play in a system that allows players to thrive and he constantly has passes and runners available when found in a tight corner. Certainly don't think he's a wide player for a Benitez team anyway, as much as I've found him extremely entertaining to watch the last few games.

Younes was the player I've been most impressed with from that Ajax side, but also the one I'd least recommend a PL team to sign probably. Take him out of that Ajax system and throw his tiny little frame in a random PL match and it wouldn't be the same player.

Newcastle United vs Barnsley - 07/05/2017 @ 12:00 - No TV

We had some absolutely horrific showings during that season despite finishing 5th. The 4-2 at Norwich, 5-0 at Spurs, 5-2 at Fulham, 4-0 at Wigan, the final day at Everton. Shows how precarious it was, the narrow wins and horrendously embarrassing defeats that became typical of the following 4 seasons were already apparent even then. -
Ranocchia is hopeless. He may have played well for Hull but i wouldn't touch the soft cunt with a bargepole. In Italy he always had spells of looking ok before having massive disasterous drops in form.

Because they are the current Scudetto holders. See: Milan 2011/12 Inter 2010/11 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scudetto

Sneijder or Iniesta in 2010, Ribery in 2013. Suarez would have got close in 2014 if he didn't bite Chiellini.

To be fair the award was far more about performances and trophy success at that time when it was decided by just journalists than the popularity contest that it became under the FIFA stewardship. I do believe there are a few years when Messi and Ronaldo perhaps didn't deserve to win but did by default.
-
Top 5 were Owen, Raul, Kahn, Beckham and Totti. Poor year.
-
Aye that's a very strange analysis to say he's poor in the air.
-
David Healy was topscorer in Euro qualifying one year

10, very easy.

So basically a version of Gouffran? Errr no He'll be playing in the Champions League final for Juventus for a start. And banged in goals for Bayern Munich ffs.
-
He generally gets praised by commentators. You think he's been as important to Tottenham's season as Kane, Eriksen or Alli? That's certainly not true. He's not as important as Alderweireld or Dembele either. And I'm a fan of him.
-
Mandzukic is not the most skillful player in the world but he's got astonishing workrate and attitude. His goal return has always been solid enough too. This left wing thing is a bit odd but at the moment it's working well for Juventus and given them balance as Alex Sandro functions as the attacking wide player really.
-
Well Kane and Alli (and Eriksen) have been more major players tbf. Son is more of a supporting role, with his buzzing around, good running and chipping in with goals. He's not quite as good if he's the player required to be running a game, hence why he's always pants for Korea.
-
Really? Not the one I know (my sample size is admittedly small). Well same, but the two I know thought he was good and were disappointed when he went to Burnley instead of signing permanently.
-
He won the same number of league titles at Milan as Ancelotti did in half the time and with a plethora of clowns padding the squad. Great manager.

Jelle Vossen was well liked by Boro fans

Getting a 2-0 win over Barca with this side 32 Abbiati 05 Mexes 17 Zapata 04 Muntari 10 Boateng 18 Montolivo 20 Abate 21 Constant 23 Ambrosini 92 El Shaarawy (Traore - 88' Booked ) 11 Pazzini (Niang - 75' ) Substitutes 01 Amelia 02 De Sciglio 76 Yepes 12 Traore 36 Christante 19 Niang 22 Bojan Is practically miracle work.

Allegri was a great manager for Milan. His side that won the league in 2010/11 was excellent, and he continued getting big European performances in the following seasons despite the team being absolutely shite by that point. Milan struggled because of the apathy at ownership level, not because of Allegri.
-
He did cost around 30 million euros tbf. Might not seem a lot in modern football but it is when buying from the Bundesliga. He's absolutely shite for the national team considering how well he plays for Spurs. My Korean friends hate him
-
You mean like on aggregate? The years have worked out well for him in that case with Xavi and Iniesta fading out and Neymar and Suarez coming in. Over the last 10 years I'd give it to Ibrahimovic. Aye that's what I meant, but I worded it like that to be controversial. If you go from that season where Sevilla nearly won the league, to him now, he's been consistently fucking incredible.
-
They've actually only conceded 2 goals.
-
Alves has been the 3rd best player in the world over the last 10 years
-
Juventus have absolutely shut Monaco down. Incredible stuff when you consider how much they looked like scoring goals in the last two rounds.
