  1. Anar I'm being harsh and it's obviously not his fault, but it's two seasons he's basically missed now. This can kill careers unfortunately. I think we might need two CBs in the summer.
  2. The lad is becoming a bit of a waste of space like, christ
  3. Probably jointly with De Silvestri
  4. Yeah reminds me of our cup final so far
  5. Former Kilmarnock legend Manuel Pascali
  6. Difference with when both Napoli and Fiorentina fell to the third tier (and many other cases) it was due to bankruptcy. This is without doubt the biggest 'on pitch' fall I would say. Samp have one of the biggest budgets and some of the bigger names in B this year - they've just been managed appallingly. For example they signed Coda and Tutino this summer gone, two experienced second tier strikers who were up there as top scorers last year. They were 30/1 to go down at the start of the season, and should have been in the pack with the runaway top 3 on paper.
  7. If I was a fan of any other club I would be desperate for them to win the final over Sheffield Utd mind. Narrative wise they are far more interesting addition to the PL. Alas I have to stan the Blades.
  8. Sunlun's subs making the difference now. Pens the only hope.
  9. Samp about 7 minutes + added time away from Serie C
  10. Enjoying Shaqiri going back to Basel and delivering their first title in 8 years with this season:
  11. Nah you can't have a 24 team league without play-offs that go at least down to 6th IMO. The play-offs aren't really for the excitement of the play offs themselves (although that is fun), it's to keep the league active from January onwards for the middle of the league. If only the top 3 go up you basically have loads of teams with no chance of going up and no chance of going down for half the season. The play-offs are great for keeping things active, reducing dead rubbers and make the Championship a much more interesting league in general. They have the relegation play off in Germany (16th Vs 3rd) and it is shit. The Bundesliga team always wins (12 out of 15 occasions I believe since it was introduced in 2009) because they're much stronger. It would be even worse in the PL because of the financial gulf - you'd basically just be making it even harder for teams to go up and reduce it to effectively two up/two down.

    Dan Burn

Dunno, those first games he played when he signed he was outstanding and in a much worse team than this one. It gets overlooked just how good he was and how immediately transformative it was for our defence.
  13. Depends on other results. If it left us only needing a draw last game then yes.
  14. Anybody got purchase history at Hibs? Was thinking about ticking off Easter Road next Saturday but need previous purchase history to get one.
  15. Villa having Spurs and Man Utd last two takes the biscuit, although they'd have probably beaten them anyway. Chelsea getting to play Liverpool the week after they've won the league was particularly irritating though.
  16. Hasn't half felt like some of the timing of the fixtures has conspired against us. Everybody seems to be playing teams on the beach.
  17. Scott is a talented player but he's a bit planet soft cunt for the PL
  18. Because their ground is tiny
  19. Fair play to Southampton. They're terrible. But they fought hard for that result, and it takes them above the Derby record.
  20. Obviously City win here FFS, absolute teases
