Feels like a microcosm of the whole season really. That first goal was all of our weaknesses in one go. Too easy to play through the press in midfield, too slow in defence to follow the run, and then Dubravka nowhere near quick enough off his line like Pope would be. A massively jammy second to top things off.

It happens pretty often. Not an everyday occurrence but definitely pretty regular in the NL. As far as I'm aware it's only for dissent. To be honest there has been occasions I've even missed it happening - as I don't believe they show a card. Only noticing afterwards when the player comes back on or it's mentioned by others there.

Had them in the Northern League for years. For dissent. Works well at that level, as it's a disgrace the way officials are treated. Not convinced of the point at the top level.

This and the Forest game have been alarm bells for his stubbornness tactically. He gets a bit of a pass in that he has basically had no room for manoeuvre with the midfield 3 available and the balance hasn't worked at all really since Miley came in (even though individually he's shown promise, and definitely gonna be great). We could have tried another system though at some point to tweak things. He really is amazingly stubborn on that front - I nearly collapsed from shock when he went to a back 5 mid game against Villa.

He's been a huge miss like.

Love what he's done for us but the sooner he's a bench back up who can do a job in two positions, rather than a nailed on starter, the better.

Definitely been one of the biggest issues with the team for months I'd say. Like you say it's a shame because he's clearly going to be class, but the midfield is just so open with him in there.

Barkley outperforming him so far.

Can see why we picked Burn because of how much physicality they have on set pieces but we've conceded from a set piece and Burn has been obliterated by Ogbene so it's safe to say that has backfired.

They're physically stronger, losing too many battles all over the pitch. Whats more worrying that they have grown into it and now have a grip of things in midfield.

Dummett went to Gateshead, Krul to Carlisle. They both also had other loans a bit further afield in Scotland as well though. Most of the players we've sent on loan to Pools and Heed have never really had much chance of a future here tbh.

If we make Europa/Conference League again, I'd say there's a decent chance tbf. Otherwise he'd be gone.

Barkley looked incredible from their highlights last night Seems to be having a bit of an Indian summer as the main man. Fair play to Edwards for getting it out of him.

He should have hit it earlier into the corner so it was a mistake I'd say. However he did the same for his goal against Palace earlier in the season where he settled himself before finishing into the corner and it was the right decision that time.

Reasonably confident we've got a draw.
