Still feels to me like we're letting the deal go on stubbornness/principals. We're in a desperate situation in January of a relegation threatened season which is caused by their stubbornness in the first place, letting another signing and subsequently window go will be disasterous IMO. One of the worst things about this is the forward momentum lost. All our players thought he was coming, a boost for the team before the big game on Saturday. Maybe Aubameyang or Gameiro. Hope not Erding. I said a few pages back but I can see that Gouffran from Bordeaux. Out of contract in the summer, far more underwhelming but when you limit yourself to one league there's only so many options you go through before you're scraping the barrel.

The backup plan is apparently Aubameyang, but their owner said they won't be selling him. I just can't see where we go from here, and I doubt the club do either.
