My alltime favourite neesyism.

Congrats Mole, you've been replaced on my sig.

Rijkaard finished 3rd in his last season at Barca, a long way adrift of Madrid and Villarreal. Pep's team was built fresh from the ashes of Rijkaard's, not on his foundations. Rijkaard was the one that gave Messi his chance though, so you could say in that sense he never got to see his prodigy through.

Matt Phillips is shiteeeeee. That's why he now plays for Scotland.
-
Our manager is Alan Pardew. I'd crawl on broken glass to replace him with the waiter.
-
Would rather sign DG than AC if we absolute mus havz mor jordies in the team

My hotel was right next to La Romareda when we stopped in Zaragoza. Didn't get to see a game there but the ground is in rack and ruin.

I'm sure everybody has read it before, but its always worth a re-post: http://www.wsc.co.uk/the-archive/42-Media/145-no-love-no-joy

If his choice was between Chelsea and Bayern he's made the right (only) choice.

Something really unnerving about the German guy shirking the fan-friendly, cheap, standing terrace football he could go and watch to soak up Pardewball on TV every week.

Bayern denied this yesterday. And today Pep waxes lyrical about the Premier League in an interview. He'll go to England, I have little doubt. Quashed in under 10 mins.
-
Will still be on a youth contract you'd imagine. He'll soon jump at the chance when he's offered a wage increase of around 500%
-
Sign some players you cunts.
-
It never ends.

I'm not complaining, but we need a CB and a striker FFS

Yeah, the new guy has a great track record in this area.

It's all borrowed money, Fernandes isn't rich enough to sink his own fortune into a company that is going to hemorrhage money. It might not be this year, or next year - but in 5 years time they are going to be completely fucked. The policy is simply unsustainable, and unlike Leeds QPR won't be big enough to recover from it.
-
He's 27 not 23. His type of player - pace and athelticism tend to decline quickly as they approach their 30's. He needs the money now. So what do you do? Bend to his demands? What's the difference in what you were offering and what they did? You could equally say that if he's that type of player, he needs the money because he's going to decline, as you said, which doubly makes him one to avoid, especially at that cost. Nothing we can do. We have to stick to our wage structure, but that doesn't mean fernandes and qpr are monkeys like some are trying to say... If they're so clever then how are they sitting bottom of the league in the first place? Fernandes appointed the last manager and along with that manager bought most of the current squad, handing out massive wages to players and agents in the process - which has them sitting bottom and needing to gamble to stay up. Compared to say... the owners of Norwich or Swansea, they have been made to look like total mugs.

Nah I still watch loads of football, just concentrate far more towards foreign leagues and switch off to the Prem. Can't bare to look at league tables, MOTD highlights or even check scores when we're doing so shite. Did the same for most of the Championship season. Obviously those with little interest in other leagues won't do that though. As much as I complain about the competition as an entity I'm looking forward to the latter stages of the Champions League this year. I also normally enjoy the latter stgaes of the Europa league, but the inevitable exit will leave me disgusted every time I see a match in the later rounds.
-
I wish I could switch off to the sport more, particularly at times like this. Find it very hard to.
-
Honestly reckon we'll go now. Half way through the transfer window and still we are a step behind where we were when it started. Gutted but gradually becoming massively apathetic towards the whole thing.
-
We'll fuck him and his agent of off on pure principal alone. This one is done.
-
Really though? He's hardly been pulling up trees has he? Not this season but he's proven it in the past, and because of his current situation he was an available transfer. The only one I can see where the very specific list of variables fall into place (plays in Ligue 1, cheaper than he should be for some reason, willing to join, positionally a good fit to the team). I'm looking around and struggling to see anybody who we could get. Hopefully I'm wrong and we pull something out of the bag.
