  1. I actually think they have some decent backup in Kacaniklic (who is highly rated in Sweden) and Kerim Frei, who impressed a lot last season. Yeah, they've both looked good. Really hope Kacaniklic makes it big time, just for lols at Liverpool (who gave him away in order to sign Konchesky)
  2. They've made £15 million or so profit, sold their two best players to a 'local rival' and failed to adequetly replace key quality and experience in midfield. Berbatov signing saves it from being disasterous. They'll still be top half like, with a lot of solid players and a good manager.
  3. Just looking at Fulham's transfers. Think they had a fairly terrible window on the whole.
  4. Way too slow for the Prem these days if his Euros is owt to go by. Used to like him at Inter.
  5. Proper cunt of the highest order.
  6. That's a likely explanation actually, johnny. (the Jamaica thing)
  7. What? Must admit I am completely lost by that.
  8. That is unbe-fucking-lievable.
  9. You are very biased towards Scottish players though, to be fair. To me that looks on paper a very average side at international level with little talent (particularly in the backline) and a lack of natural athleticism throughout. I've no clue about Levein but I certainly wouldn't be going into games looking to play expansive football if I had that crop.
  10. To be fair that is a pretty poor waste of resources.
  11. I thought so. There were boos for sure. Was a bad performance from us, Levein is a shite manager. Serbia are gash man, we shoulda had them. Scotland are gasherer though Disagree, best squad we have had in quite some time. Some really good players not being used correctly. Really? Line-up yesterday was; McGregor, Hutton, Webster, Berra, Dixon, Caldwell, Naismith, Snodgrass, Adam, Morrison, Miller. I'm struggling to see many really good players in that line-up or in the rest of the squad. That's a side of lower Prem and Championship quality players; pretty much a similar story as it has been for Scotland for most of the last 10-15 years. There isn't one Champions League level player to call on (which your other group rivals all have). Not to say that it isn't possible for them to be moulded into a competitive outfit if they are well drilled and organised considering the sides that have done that in the past, but I'd say that for Scotland to sneak 2nd place from their current group should be seen as a commendable achievement (and the optimum target) for a group of players that are lacking hugely in natural physicality and technical ability almost across the board.
  12. Must say I can't stand comments like that. (Taylor_J's)
  13. Times were going with 6 weeks as well today
  14. Di Maria You only get one go at that man you cheeky tit.
  15. Argie journeyman scores for Paraguay on his debut against his own country.
  16. Divvee handball from some neebody from the Argie league.
  17. Yay to UEFA qualifying! We should do like the CONCACAF and do a previous round to weed out some of the worst teams, really. Sometimes I wonder if it would be better for the minnows if they had a round of games against more similar opposition every time, or whether it actually benefits them to play the full spectrum of sides and get the chance to play against a higher level of opposition.
  18. SA qualifying is as good as it gets for international football outside of the World Cup and Euros like. Still annoyed Sky stopped televising it. Almost certainly because Brazil aren't involved.
