Quite looking forward to the game tonight. Shame Pearce is in charge, the kernt. Brazil should be fun though.

I love the bit where Papiss is just floating along nowhere near his boat.

Aye. Even if we are seeded we could still be unlucky and pull Feyernoord/Anzhi/Bursaspor/somebody. Tbh we should be able to beat all the teams on both sides of the seeding line, but you want it to be as easy as poss. I can't believe Feyenoord's coeff is so wank like, they been out as long as us?
-
Aye so Twente and Rosenborg, two teams today who have a higher coefficient than us both got home draws to wanky sides (Finnish and Kazakh teams). Be nice if those two could get dumped out now (Sorry Kaiz) as it will make us more safe on the seeding process situation, with another round of potential upsets still to come. Basically we want lots of upsets in this comp but as few as possible in the Champions league.
-
Aye, the disappointments of the last window seem to have been completely forgotten about. Think how shit the 3 in this league that we didn't get (Gervinho, Ruiz and N'Zogbia) have done has helped. You wonder if they had done as shit if they'd came here? did we get lucky or are a good platform for these players right now?
-
We're also trying to sign players that are in a way over and above our station. It's fuck easy to sign players if you're signing Craig Gardner or some rank average player. But if you're aiming for the best, which is what we've done then you're going to have rejection and failure both in terms of bids and in terms of the player's demands. We saw it last season and this season. We were rejected by Gameiro, we were rejected by Gervinho, we were priced out of a move for Cisse. However the ones we do get are turning out to be mint because we're aiming high.
-
Btw it may have been mentioned, but the fact they drew at home is good news. If they get knocked out it will not only encourage him to leave, but it moves us higher on the seedings!

It'll go tits up there, absolutely nailed on IMO. Pompey situation in the making, that Fernandes chap will fuck off leaving them owing money to creditors. Nee investment ganning on , just expensive loans.

West Ham agree fee in region of £15m with Liverpool for Andy Carroll
ponsaelius replied to Pilko's topic in Football
Nobody is going to offer close to that. The only clubs interested are mid-table sides who can't afford close to that one one player, nevermind the wage bracket. -
Ha ha, my nextdoor neighbour. He's clearly taking the piss by the way.

Gaël Bigirimana rejoins Coventry on a permanent basis

Rumour on Twatter that Graham Carr recommended the two French lads Coventry have just signed as a goodwill to push the Bigi deal through. -
Ah aye she's the lass out of Kick Ass.

Chloe Moretz according to the filename. 15 now, 14 in that gif.

FWIW when I asked on BigSoccer Ajax and AZ fans both said the same thing. Anita = excellent, Douglas = physical but clumsy and error prone. Twente fan was the only one who said Douglas was excellent. But it's worth noting exactly the same pattern happened with Tiote before we signed him. I guess Dutch people are just snobs to actual defending, as we saw at the Euros
-
Admittedly I would be annoyed if he went too one ofthose two. More because we seem to have been linked to him for like 3 consecutive windows now.
-
Italian transfer madness: Juve are signing Troisi so they can send him to Atalanta in a co-ownership deal to get Manolo Gabbiadini (the name ), and then are loaning Gabbiadini straight out to Bologna for the season.
-
PLUS - he might be bigger mates with Ruiz than Tiote!!!
-
they might have bidded more

Shame you're playing a Korean team then you stupid cunt.
