  1. He was never going to start man I know, that's my point. He's probably nowhere close to even being ready for the bench but they've rushed him back. I am sure a professional footballer can handle a short cameo mind, match fitness aside he doesnt spend every day drinking Guiness and eating kebabs. His general fitness will be decent enough for that I'm not on about match fitness, he's had problems with his knee. Should hope so or the operation was a waste of time. Didnt realise he had it done yesterday like, stupidly assumed it was done two months ago when they said. You've convinced me. We don't have a record of rushing players back early. Would have been in the bottom three weeks ago if we hadnt last time What's that got to do with him being fit or not? Cisses goals despite not being fit have kept us up this year. Clearly he and the club know a bit more than you thankfully You seem desperate for an argument. By stating a fact? You bleated about him not being fit and took offense when i pointed out nobody said he was That's not really what happened. I said they'd rushed him back and you said he'd be fine for a cameo. Then you veered off and started banging on about how his goals have saved us. Completely different argument. No i said he was never going to start if you can read. Anyway nobody wants to read this s*** ffs I finally agree with you.

  8. Well he did win the FA cup with Wigan and gave Everton their highest ever points tally in the PL.
  9. Real's has got a stupid dragon on I think. Juve's is good though.

    Lee Charnley

He deserves stick but there's no way Ashley would let him do anything that Ashley doesn't want. Getting rid of Charnley just means you get the next Charnley/Llambias on the conveyor belt. Not really. Ashley wont issue order like "sell Santon for nuts". He would just give Charnley a target to achieve --- most likely is profit every season --- but how to execute it is Charnley's hands, who has absolutely f***ed the whole thing up --- f***ed up the fans, f***ed up the players, and even f***ed up Ashley's income next season. Ashley might not dictate every single move but he'll be a lot more hands on than just saying achieve a profit and stay in the league etc.

    John Carver

Or that he'd risk relegation if it means he doesn't have to spend another penny. Plenty of clubs get bought regardless who the manager is, appointing/not appointing a manager doesn't mean he is/isn't going to sell. Bringing in Kinnear was the same situation, clearly had no intention to sell though.

  13. Ronalso is an athlete though, there's plenty of contemparies with better technique, iniesta etc. No offence froggy but would you be as big a ronaldo fan if he didn't play for man u
  14. Regardless of stats, messi is streets ahead technique wise

Doubt it, there's very little reason to change numbers these days unless it's leaked to an internet forum. I've had my number for nearly fifteen years. Thank god it hasn't then.
  16. Stats dont reveal enough, a perfect through ball squared to another player isn't an assist but can change a game.
  17. First competitive goal for a year.
  18. Silva has been meh at best, real question is how is the league top scorer not even in the team? Silva has still hit double figures in goals. Man City have underperformed but he's been decent.
  19. Not sure how Coutinho is there like, even within Liverpool's midfield Sterling and Henderson are probably better choice given the contributions they've made. What about Silva or Fabregas?
  20. There are more managers whose 'job' it was to get the the quarter and semi finals than those who did.
  21. Southampton and Sevilla haven't been run like that though. Southampton, at least, have been run to succeed and do what they do to succeed. We do what we do to tread water. Teams like that and Porto especially have hundreds of worldwide scouts and have players bought or at least lined up before the current one leaves. We have about ten scouts and replace players 18 months later, the models are completely different. Edit- I see VI does allude to that with Sevilla actually
