Absolutely embarrassing stats, makes you wonder what it would take for most of our fanbase to take a stand against Ashley considering most haven't bothered yet.

It's actually extremely easy to defend Carr. He's constantly expected to mine exactly the same resource for the same reason time and time again. He's found at least three teams to build within the space of 4 years, expected to find star players at zero cost, to keep us in one of the toughest, most competitive leagues in Europe without any concern for team cohesion or success beyond resale value. Then they're handed over to the likes of Alan Pardew and Steve McClaren to either not play them or cast them aside. I still think he's done well in the frankly ridiculous circumstances to even find players that cheaply in the leagues he's scoured. Our policy is transparent and pathetic. One hand is fighting the other. He got us HBA, Cabaye, Ba, Debuchy, Sissoko, Remy, Yanga Mbiwa, Santon. All of which were cast aside, sold for profit or failed to develop under a s*** manager. I blame the system rather than him. You can't keep scouring the same source using the same method, with the same requirements and expect players like HBA and Cabaye every time. No, he's built a s**** team and the proof of it is on the pitch. Way to blank what he's just said.

What the hell difference is that going to make. Everything comes back to Ashley. Why do you go out of your way to come across thick all the time? What the fuck are you on about? You must be another one that can't see that changing the manager or chief exec or scout won't make a blind bit of difference.

And of course Ashley gave him all the money required to be competitive and said bring in whoever you want. Charnley is clearly shit but he's just another in a long line. You'll all be complaining about his replacement in 12 months time. What's the point.

He's wasted tens of millions on players not fit for Premier League football. Because shit managers have forced out the good ones we've brought in and because he's blatantly not allowed to buy from England or buy anyone with any experience. What's he supposed to do? Add that to the fact that we have the worst club culture in the PL and any half decent players are obviously going to look shit.

Managers, chief executives and directors of football have come and gone, Ashley the only one who's been here throughout all the shitness. No point wasting your breath on McLaren, Charnley or Carr, until Ashley goes we will continue to be an embarrassment.

Or perhaps 10 years of this s*** until he's milked us dry, followed by a lifetime in the doldrums. I dunno if the second part is directed at me or not but...I'm not defending the people going to games, I think they are part of the problem tbh. I'm just saying, there's no point in the rest of us saying they deserve this so let them suffer it because ultimately we also have to suffer it. I'm saying that to get change we're probably going to need lots of people pulling in the same direction and that means a lot of match going fans will need to be involved.
