you mean either one of his simple passes to the wing that Guthrie does all the time too? He can do the simple stuff but he is also one of the very few players we have who has the vision to pick a pass that splits the opposition defence. Because he's been out of action so much we've not often seen him at his best. He was getting there under Keegan although playing out of position. You are obviously not convinced that Barton is the club's best player. So who is your nomination? I'd say Enrique has proven himself to be a better player even taking into account Barton's form at Man City.

Why? You'd want someone like Dave Jones at your club long term? If we do ever get promoted he's hardly gonna storm the PL. At least with Shearer we don't know if he'll be good or bad yet, with Jones we already know he's not a great manager. God help us for wanting a manager to be proud of.

I'm Sodje but I don't agree, it's not that bad, there's a few players who could Spurr them on to victory. They've got a few midfielders who'll Potter around doing their jobs and if the chairman opens the Purse-strings they'll do well this season. Like reading The Sun that.

Hardly, he did nowt against West Brom except score a goal that was set up on a plate for him. Kazenga will at least do more in the other 89m of the match and actually, dare I say it, create a chance for a striker. Ah tbf, when you put it like that - i suppose we won't miss him at all. The club is a hotbed of potent strikers at the moment so someone who scores goals probably isn't that great a loss. We can't score goals for s*** man. So you don't think Carroll and Ameobi can score tap ins? Ameobi is completely crap but he has actually scored in the PL when he had half decent service. Duff couldn't beat a man or cross, Lua Lua can at least do the former well. If we create, we score, and Lua Lua is gonna be more effective than Duff in that sense.

Simpson was Beye's replacement really, we still need loads more players to come in. We needed another RB even with Beye here.
