    You'll have to elaborate.
  2. His best form playing as centre-back was under Keegan though. So it sounds to me another case of him arse licking the management as he has done in the past. I wonder what excuses people will use for him now he's had "individual coaching" when he comes back to being horrific in the centre. They’ll probably just pick one the many excuses put forward to justify Collocini’s pathetic performances. ST is decent player with a good attitude. Based on what exactly? i dont think nayone can argue that he is decent. especially at rb. I can argue it and I will. It's always the same with Taylor fans, they can't actually name me what he's good at when he's playing at centre half. Anyways this topic has been derailed enough. comes down to an undividuals definiton of 'decent' i guess doesnt it. Still not mentioned what he's decent at. Ok I'll stop. He's 'decent' at everything, Tackling, heading etc.

  4. Cisse on though. And even better, Cisse on FYP, perhaps. What does FYP mean again? I always forget. For your....? Fixed your post Ah

  6. 1531: Madness from Tottenham keeper Heurelho Gomes, who dribbles round Jo inside his own six-yard box. Harry Redknapp looks like he could throttle the maverick Brazilian. :harry: :harry: :harry:
  7. Because most journos are idiots? :colo:
  8. The 'Big Four' "In the past six seasons, only Everton (in 2006) have broken the grip of the 'big four' clubs (Man United, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal) and qualified for the Champions League. In the same period, 10 Spanish and eight Italian clubs have qualified. Only once has a 'big four' side not won the Premier League (Blackburn, 1995)." What about us? The 'past' six seasons can't include this one, therefore as we qualified in 02/03 Everton aren't the only ones.
  9. Geovanni's heroics in taking Hull to 17th in the table managed to get him to 7th best signing.
  10. Dunno where to post this but.... I'm listening to The Times 'The Game' podcast. The 'pundits' were shocked that Nolan wasn't playing, asking why were Barton and Smith were on the pitch when Nolan was available. Proof they don't even watch Newcastle (unless against top4)?
  11. He said it to boost his confidence after a mistake. H never said he was the clubs most consistent player. Lazy reporting, that's my point.
  12. For a comparison here is a **** piece: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1177588/ASH-WEDNESDAY-Lack-local-heroes-Wor-Als-Newcastle-drifting-away.html Fabricio Coloccini (laughably billed as the club's most consistent player this year) By whom? Sebastien Bassong (so good that Newcastle's defence has leaked 56 goals, the second worst in the Premier League behind bottom club West Bromwich) So with that genius logic O'Shea is the fourth best defender in the world? They have tried almost everything, checking their fitness, their dietary habits, changing the system system several times or playing Damien Duff left-back at Anfield (ludicrous). Ludicrous indeed, Enrique should've played, injured or not! Its not an excuse!
  13. There's blue piping on it as well.
  14. Barca are technically the fairest team in Europe as they've been fouled the most and fouled others the least.

    Joey Barton

Shearer is the new Guardiola tbh with his take no **** attitude. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/europe/8013929.stm "Tales of life under Guardiola still surface, however, and it is clear he has not lost his famed authoritarian streak. Hunter explained: "Training starts at 11am but that doesn't mean players coming on to the pitch at 11 - everyone has to be out there and ready or everyone will be fined. "There was a famous incident in October where one player came out at a minute past, with his laces undone. He bent down and tied his laces and was probably ready by 11.02. Pep stopped everybody and said 'he's fined and you're all fined'." He may be strict, and demanding, but Guardiola has also gained respect."
  16. Idiotic, he hasn't even had a chance, only been here a month.
  17. How can you be on a ten when the writing isn't on the wall yet? Surely you'd have to be a nine?
  18. Marchena looks like a total ****
  19. I dont think I said that, although i did think they'd have a good season, and I thought Southgate had them on the right track. I think he's a good manager and they have some good players. I'll lay a bet with you now if you like. If Boro stay up and keep the horse faced one as their manager, I have ten of your English pounds that says they'll finish top half next season. I've got form on these bets. Ask Parky *wink* What's that even based on? Boro have a crap manager and crap squad, that's why they are where they are.
  20. Left Inter today after a mutual termination of his contract. I'm sure he'll get loads of offers this summer.
