  1. What about the penalty Barcelona should have had? Arsenal weren't robbed there, they were very fortunate in fact.
  2. What about Arsenal's playacting/typical English style cheating? In comparison Barcelona are by far the bigger cheats, it was clear as day tonight. Shameful, embarrassing and it definitely tarnishes their footballing ability. Just find myself laughing in pity at Dani Alves' constant need to playact. Hilarious behavior from what is supposed to be a grown man   As usual, complete nonsense from Dresden. He's prone to it yeah but he didn't even play act once tonight. Or do you mean when van Persie clearly pushed him in the face? He was too busy raping Arsenal's left side for 90 minutes tonight to play act. Your sad bitterness really clouds your judgment. He clearly did playact tonight. One that sticks in my mind is when Nasri(?) kicked the bottom of his boot and he rolled around screaming whilst holding his shin. Pathetic  Love this idea that someone can be 'prone to cheating', as if the poor lamb just can't help but do it Didn't Nasri do a similar thing when Alves fouled him on half-way? He clearly wasn't injured so appeared to be play acting.
  3. No need to name names, they're all cheats!
  4. What about Messi being tripped in the box? The referee was poor all around surely? Nothing against Arsenal in particular.
  5. Yes you are. There's nothing intellectual about hating someone for taking a better paid job with improved prospects, especially when their current employer encourages them to do so. Football is in no way comparable to other jobs in this situation, IMO. Surely there's more to life than money and instant success as well? We could all give up on Newcastle and support Man U but don't, Carroll could have stayed a couple more years to see what happened. Fair enough, Carroll may not be a fan of the club in the same way but then he shouldn't patronise the fans saying he supports the club and wants to stay for life.
  6. RvP obviously knew it was an offside. Why would he hit a half hearted shot with his right when he could've put it on his left? Rules are rules, if they aren't going to be enforced they shouldn't be there. Wonder if Wenger will pick up on the Messi 'pen' in his post-match interview as well...

It can be done over one window. It all depends on the board, the manager and the players that already have been there. 10 players? Even if we spent all the money from the Carroll fee we'd be spending £3.5m on average on players. Not everyone player is going to be a Tiote before you point that out as well. We'd be better off spending a bit more on less players and then doing the same over a few windows. Who was the last team to buy ten quality players in one window? It doesn't happen in the real world unless you have Man City levels of money.
  8. Bit of a stupid idea using Gerrard as well given his history isn't it?
  9. He may have helped us back into the PL but its not like we did nothing for him. Supported him through one court case and stuck by him when he was accused of beating up his bird.
  10. The man recently died. There's no need for stuff like this.
  11. That's a despicable thing to say. Not as bad s your last two posts in this thread tbh. GM must be on the wind-up. If not then its pretty embarrassing.
  12. Not sure I've seen anybody say we've been better without Carroll but we've not been overly hit have we? Still sitting top 10 even without him. People post stuff like "We won 1 in 8 before Carroll got injured didn't we?" I take it they are making out we are doing better without AC. Even you had to post "without him" as he would not of played any of these games would we not be there anyway? People like me, yeah. I wasn't trying to make out we are doing better without him. That stats show we were doing about the same before he got injured as we are after, I was showing Wullie he was twisting facts for the sake of it. And since you couldn't understand my posts in the other thread I'll make it clear: I DID NOT WANT TO SELL CARROLL.
  13. It's also 2 defeats in 10 in the league. Stats mean nowt man, they can be shaped in whatever way anyone wants. Yes but he's a centre forward, he's there to win us games. Could understand using that side of the statistic if he was a centre half. Drawing every game over the course of a season will take you down, we need to win games man and we totally unable to do it at the moment. Totally unable to do it? We won three games ago! Hence I said "Birmingham aside" Only on here could people argue Newcastle United are of equal quality without Andy Carroll. f***ing hell man, listen to yourselves. We won 1 in 8 before Carroll got injured didn't we? I didn't want Carroll to go either and wouldn't have sold but there's no point coming out with rubbish to prove a point. And why would you ignore Birmingham? Liverpool aside, my stat is 0 wins.

  15. At least Lovenkrands and Taylor turn up to training earlier than the starting time. Ranger was injured wasn't he? If that's what you're referring to?
  16. Seem to be doing alright in the CL again though, I would have thought they would have let him off for this relatively poor season after the success last season.
  17. Rafael is a legend. Proper little hothead.
  18. Why? You do realise we're still only 3 points behind this lot? I am more worried about Birmingham than Liverpool or Bolton, once we are safe I will look upwards. How does Liverpool beating Man U help us to stay up? It doesn't that is why I would like to see them win. You said yourself you wanted us to look up after we are safe, as oldtype says there will be nothing to look up at if Liverpool keeping winning. No result will have an effect on us staying up but a Man U win would help us to stay in touch with Liverpool. I can't believe any fan would want Liverpool to win. Baffling, IMO. If we really wanted to stay in touch with Liverpool we should not of sold to our rivals. I didn't sell Carroll. Strange comment. I don't really understand your comment tbh. I didn't sell Carroll, I didn't want to sell him. I want to finish as high as possible. I want Liverpool to get beat. I don't see what you are getting at. If Liverpool are Newcastle rivals NUFC should not of sold them AC. What the hell are you on about? Sweet Jesus. I am off to watch the football. Do you understand that? Speak later. I'm sorry thespence but you don't seem to understand my argument. I want to finish ahead of Liverpool therefore I want them to get beat. Regardless of who Ashley has sold to them, they are only a few points ahead in the table.

If we ended up signing 10 players, chances are that 5-6 of the would be 'Danny Guthries' and everyone would be moaning at the next window that we need rid of them. Re-building take time and can't be done over one window.
