  1. If we had've went 4-3-3 it would have been even more embarrassing IMO. We were getting overrun to begin with. In hindsight we should've played 4-5-1. Throwing on 1-2 more strikers at the expense of midfielders is unimaginative tactics as well sometimes.
  2. I can see Wolves putting a run together for sure. We're in for a serious struggle imo. You can see Wolves putting a run together but it's something we're not capable of? Not sure what's funny about that tbh. They're in desperate need of finding last seasons form but you just know that MM will get something out of them and they'll not disappear like Avram Grants lot could. We don't look like being capable of putting a run together at the minute. What's MM waiting for then? We're seven points ahead of them and are missing half our first team, once we get those players back we'll get some more good results, IMO. What are Wolves waiting for? 1. They've not been playing dreadfully. 2. They won't go down with a wimper. 3. One win and their heads will be up and I think MM will have them believing. I'm not saying they're f***ing Chelsea here, just that they'll probably put a run together. You could say the most of those things about us. I don't see how were are seemingly a team of lazy mercenaries wheres Wolves are plucky battlers that'll get there in the end. Wolves may be playing well but isn't that even more worrying for them? Playing as well as they can and still not getting points. I'm sure most Wolves fans would kill to be in our position. Where did I say we were 'lazy mercenaries'? I said 'seemingly', you seemed to be implying that Wolves would be up for the battle but we wouldn't. I'm not having a go I just think you're giving them too much credit. I think they'll push on when they get a result because MM will hammer it into them, I question CH's ability to do this to our lot given the predictably s**** results/performances that follow every good result. Consistent teams finish in the top 6-8. If we followed our good results with more good results we'd be about 4th!
  3. The alarm bells have been ringing for a few weeks, you're right. Wigan at home was when they started wasn't it?

  7. Not sure what point you were trying to make, yeah we finished top last year, but didn't beat WBA once, they even looked the better team when we played them. We haven't won in 5 now. Who cares if we didn't beat them last year? We won the league. Same this year, we don't have to beat them, I just want to finish ahead of them. Hate their club, manager and their fans especially fucking Adrian Chiles.
  8. He must be better then if the world famous West Brom scouting team bought him. Shame you couldn't use those expert scouts to find better players than ours last season eh? We'll see where they finish this season then? Before this game West Brom hadn't won in 5 or so. They aren't the fucking best team oustide the top 5 are they? Don't see the point in other teams fans on here in the first place, I think its pathetic.

  10. Terrible day overall. The worst thing was that there seemed to be no passion. Regardless of the players at his disposal Hughton should've had them up for it. I thought Taylor did alright, I know he's public enemy no. 1 but I thought he did better than Sol. Simpson, Tiote and Jose were all average as well but the rest were woeful. Hopefully Nolan and Barton will be back soon. Shit day though
  11. I'm amazed he hasn't gone already. Sunderland game was your prediction wasn't it?
  12. If he's absolutely clueless how come your mates at Chelsea couldn't outwit him? Terrible day at the office today but overall this season we are doing OK. This forum is fucking shit sometimes though with some of the bi-polar idiots. Anyone who expected an easy ride all season is fucking clueless.
  13. That can't be right? 130-1? Carroll FGS and Newcastle win 1-0 is only 35-1
  14. It looks like Shola will play I think, so Barton won't be taking any pens. Unless all three goals come after 70 mins or so when Shola has been subbed.
  15. I think he's already proven he's a good manager. We're obviously going to lose games and have bad runs, you can't always say that means the manager is crap, take Ancelotti as an example at the moment. On the other hand you could argue the opposite with the good runs but I think Hughton has shown enough in the last year and a half, with our rapid rise, to show he's a good manager. Mick, you seem to be basing your opinion on Hughton's ability entirely down to our results (thinking he's good after and few wins and bad after a few defeats), surely there comes a point where you have to accept that a manager is doing the best with the players he has got. You could argue Hughton isn't doing this it but that would be difficult IMO.
  16. They won one of the games, so I doubt it.
  17. Carroll obviously had potential some chose to ignore it. I remember people saying Carroll would never be good enough not that he was just rubbish at the time (which he wasn't).
  18. Correct. Was a trick question you see.
  19. Has anyone in the world got a better first touch than Iniesta? Rhetorical question because no one does.
