  1. Why? That's actually great. Matter of fact, they should make it a law that a ball shouldn't be lifted from the grass unless it's a shot or a cool trick.
  2. That everybody is trying to outdo each other on grief and incredulousness these days?

    John Carver

He almost got us relegated when we'd have been well safe even just getting a point a game. So annoying.

  5. FFS man, again? We never resign former players. Reckon Solano was the last one, over a decade ago. Every fucking transfer window we're linked with Carroll or other former players we wouldn't touch because they're too old and/or on too high wages.
  6. Fair point tbh, have thought all season we've had loads of players out injured but when you look at it they're mainly fringe players, Krul aside. One or two of that front 4 or Janmaat / Mbemba gets injured and we'll look very vulnerable.
  7. Being interrupted is the worst like, but there's properly no need for that. He interrupted Henry in the first place and Henry was being very polite as always. Also think Souness was making a bullshit point tbh and he sort of knew it. Because Arsenal have more players who run with the ball (debatable) they get more injuries? From watching football for 20-odd years I most certainly haven't noticed a correlation between players who dribble a lot and players who pick up lots of injuries. He was sat next to Thierry Henry FFS, almost never got injured and had the ball at his feet all the time. Most injury prone players I can think of are Ferguson and Carroll, neither of whom ever really ran with the ball.
  8. Bloke at my work stuck a fiver on 6 BTTS+results the other weekend and won £9,500.
  9. That's never him man, I can't process it
  10. Hey man, it's really really important.
  11. Seems a mixed bag, the forum joey went on did but the one I went on seemed neutral at worst.
  12. I've just been a little bit sick in my mouth That's nothing mate, I've been projectile vomiting since yesterday. Got sent home from work.
  13. That's not how I saw him tbf. His main theory seemed to be if the players are good enough then they should be able to get on with it with minimal coaching or tactics, almost making his role in the whole thing redundant.
  14. Not sure if the "shouldn't argue with fans of other clubs" thing holds water until we know a significant proportion are sick of him for valid reasons. This is the first I've heard of any issues, although it might be the media not reporting it of course.
