Prophet of doom. Tbf it does seem a bit weird that he'd "manage" an NUFC game then gan straight to Palace to be their new manager. Me head's all over the shop.
-
Not really excited anymore.
-
NO! NO! imagine there's no pardew it's easy if you try We must not hope. Stop hoping!
-
If it's true then I can't wait til they find out, especially with the shite he's got to work with there.
-
This, I've only been aware of the rumours for an hour and I'm fucking drained.
-
Whoever took that. Don't take any chances. Shoot him.
-
You can fuck off with him n'all you useless fucking ape.

Where's that thread on which manager we should get in, for when this inevitably happens?
-
I'd love to know the percentage of games we've won by 1 goal and how it compares to other sides during the time period / previous NUFC managers. Seems a lot.

Newcastle United vs Everton - 28/12/14 @ 4:15PM (live on Sky Sports)

His only use for some players is throwing them under the bus every once in a while, it's outrageous. The lineup is hilarious like. Selections and substitutions since that winning run show he hasn't learnt a thing like some were saying, he simply hadn't worked out how to put his own stamp on it and fuck it up. -
Surely we could have bought a cheaper scapegoat. ÂŁ5m would have been seen as big money for us. The other ÂŁ5m is effectively down the drain.
-
Always interesting to see the odds, just wish they meant something in this case. Could see Sherwood going for it in the sense it might suit both parties as a gamble.
-
It's idiotic if so, taking any emotion out of it (not difficult these days) with our strategy of buying low and selling high you'd think selling Perez any time soon would be unwise as his value is likely to rise and rise. I know we got ÂŁ35m for Carroll after just 12 months of good form but he was physical and English, and Liverpool were idiots.
-
The narrative around the good results was that the manager had turned it around and proved everyone wrong as well. Back to normal and it doesn't apply the other way. It's infuriating but it's a by-product of NUFC fans being told they shouldn't expect better, by everyone from representatives of the club to other fans to the media.

Interesting but not surprising that we have the lowest BTTS figure on the whole list. Only 12/38 games where both teams scored a goal.

This is the reason it's difficult to care at the minute, even if we win the game it's guaranteed to be needlessly dreadful. Think I'm on a train for most of it and not exactly disappointed about that. -
Newcastle would be in a better position to achieve something than anyone outside the top 6, if we ran the club properly in ways that we currently don't.
-
Genuinely hilarious that. Genius writing. Can't believe the writer of that got a lifetime achievement award at the Comedy Awards the other day. Just completely baffling that the man hasn't been hung, drawn and quartered instead. Country full of idiots.
-
Point apparently over Ian's head again, wew. Sure it'll be me getting called passive aggressive again though.
-
Not if he'd missed and WBA broke away and scored. As it happens, Pards played a blinder, 45 minutes of offensive nothing suddenly changed by a player the manager had plucked from nowhere producing a bit of magic. Was lush.
-
You're always piping up being wrong in a way that sides with the manager/club, 2 more paragraphs doing exactly the same changes nowt. The manager benefits from players taking pot shots and getting lucky time and time again, the difference here is that it didn't go in, they broke away and scored, and it was a young defenceless player he could point the finger at without any repercussions in the dressing room or elsewhere. He's a coward and you're always on here jumping to his defence.
