Newcastle United vs West Ham United - Sat 24th August @ 3pm (not on TV)

 It's true though, Inochi kept telling us he and all the people he knew at the match were in full support of Pardew and it was just people on here against him. Just take a look at other forums and twatter, hardly anyone supports Pardew. Although it does seem in the ground it's very different. Not where I sit like but jipping match goers is all the rage on here these days. In an interesting turn the supafan has gone from attending all games to being too hardline to go to the games. Poor fucking form as well. It's a tricky subject IMO, there's definitely an argument to be had for people being overly supportive of the manager making the situation worse. -
That deal was only 2 years, NR activated an early termination clause. Virgin bought NR that's why the changeover happened. Read the article, 4 years at £2.5m a year. Virgin wouldn't jump from 2.5 to 10. No actual figures on the virgin deal came out. Llambias said at the time (wonga deal) he went for the most money possible in terms of sponsor adding its one more player on the pitch. Everything apart from Luke Edwards once saying the virgin deal could be worth up to (as vague as you are going to get) £20m, points to the wonga deal being our most lucrative in our history. One more player on the pitch. Sorry, not discrediting your argument but yer kna.

He really left his mark.

Still lower though, innit. You miss the part where it said more than any previous deal? Yes.

Would be a good start. Maybe our bid was a 4-0 drubbing to put them top of the league? With add-ons of an away banker when they come to SJP. I'd take it Don't think Man City need any favours on that score.

Have you heard yourself man? All of you. Mike Ashley the man obsessed with money goes out of his way to accept a lower offer to what, piss off the fans and drag the name of the club through the mud because its good advertising Any more conspiracies you got while we are at it? Mike Ashley behind 9/11 so he could sell more secure luggage? He invented Bird Flu so he could sell trainers to run away from swans? It's funny you should mention swans, Ashley feeds beefburgers to swans.

Ridiculous if true.

 It's true though, Inochi kept telling us he and all the people he knew at the match were in full support of Pardew and it was just people on here against him. I was laughing more at Ronaldo's ingenious wording, I do think there are a sizeable proportion of the crowd still on his side. Sort of enough to make it awkward, for example I was a bit wary about slagging him at West Ham away last year and held my tongue for an hour or so, however when I started getting agitated with the daft cunt nobody objected, yet nobody joined in. There were a few boos when he subbed Ben Arfa, but nowt major. My dad's a long time season ticket holder and he hates him, same as many I would guess but he still retains a decent amount of support from what I can gather. My mates who continue to attend hate him in the days immediately after matchdays, but a few days later they "feel sorry for him". When the excuses have set in! Pardew's a clever guy, even though he's a thick cunt. -

I don't think it's about booing or backing necessarily, things like the "give us a wave" stuff is clear backing of the manager, as is the lapping up of the guy's numerous "Poor me" excuses. I can see why that's irritating to someone who has been able to see through him for a good while, it causes frustration. I'm not that keen to go to as many matches at the minute, but that's more due to my own exasperation at the way the club's being ran than letting that sort of thing annoy me. -

Sounds like he's simply ripping into other people's opinions to me, which is fair enough if you disagree with them. -

This truth upsets me. Hopefully we get a proper battering and people slowly start to get a clue. Come at me. It didn't sink in versus the mackems and Liverpool. I reckon if the excuse is good enough he'll get away with it. People trust him, for some reason. -

Fuck right off, this is all I have. Nice, cheers man. Where you logging these btw? I was thinking I'd just keep a Word doc with screen grabs of all of the polls. For the table, I'll somehow get the real table into Excel and show side-by-side with another table which takes uses N-O's most popular prediction each time. The only thing I wasn't sure about was how to log the scorelines, but I'll probs just log them as 1-1/1-0/2-0/3-0 as it seems the most sensible and shouldn't make loads of difference to goal differences anyway. It's just struck me that I'll have to amend the opposition's points/GD each game too, will need to remember that. Sorry, is that what you meant? -

Yo mods. Can we do a proper poll for this one please, I'll just assume the prediction for the last one was "Lose by 3+ goals". So: Win by 3+ goals / Win by 2 goals / Win by 1 goal / Draw / Lose by 1 goal / Lose by 2 goals / Lose by 3+ goals Have a fucking heart lads, this will give my season some meaning. -
FFS man, as if today wasn't bad enough.
