  1. I don't actually think the front of it's that bad. Looks shit quality as per the usual Puma efforts though.
  2. He made his team go out and attack those 2 games after weeks of playing it safe according to the Norwich fan at my work. Also see Hughton's comments from before the WBA game about having to go all out for the win. It worked and they won convincingly. Compare that to our manager's approach to the QPR game and the usual huge period of hanging on to the lead that we had and you'll see what needs seeing. It also worked but the squads they had to play with show what we're dealing with here. In other words Pardew was never an upgrade and that's not the reason he was brought in. Nobody's saying Hughton is perfect but the change wasn't warranted.
  3. Repeatedly stand by a cunt and you'll eventually get cunted by the cunt.
  4. Still haven't replaced him and Robert for that matter. Players like that aren't easy to come by. (Pre-finished as a winger) Jonas and Robert are such polar opposites like.
  5. Bellamy's never been about prolific goalscoring, doesn't stop him being one of the most effective forwards we've ever had. Signing him and Robert took us to another level, from 13th-13th-11th-11th to 4th-3rd-5th in fact.

    Papiss Cissé

I don't know how to react to outgoing transfer rumours now. Cisse through the middle doesn't work too well under the current system, and on the wing he's worse again.
  7. The thing is Shearer could have been a very useful player towards the end if used a bit more sparingly. Every time he was on the bench there was a load of commotion though and as much as I respect Shearer for giving some of his best years to us and know he just loved playing football, that always irked me a bit. Great leader on the pitch at the peak of his powers and otherwise mind, which was important to us. Under Robson we had leaders dotted around all over the pitch.
  8. Amazing how this idea persists. Keegan approved the signing of the shit striker. He walked when a midfield player was brought in on loan. Small details, same end result. I remember Keegan justifying the Milner sale and would imagine he was very disappointed with us not adequately replacing him and going into the season light in wing positions.
  9. It always puzzles me when people come out with this stuff saying we'd never have been relegated with Allardyce in charge, as if sacking him was to blame for us going down 18 months later. We'd also have never gone down with Keegan in charge and would in fact have made good progress under him, I've blocked it out of my mind a bit now but I do feel cheated that his 2nd managerial stint was cut short. I see no reason why he couldn't have worked alongside someone reputable like Carr, but we weren't that far along yet so that muppet Wise was signing a shit striker to replace an effective winger basically behind the manager's back. Llambias is always keen to give himself a pat on the back these days but he has a lot to answer for including sowing the seeds of our relegation with his horrible behaviour.
  10. Surely you can though? Just can't hit it off the post for yourself to score.
  11. It is indeed, he's absolutely right.
  12. Got 6/12 as well. Some strange questions, not sure what I got wrong. Pretty sure I got the one about not being able to hit the ball off the post from a pen for a team-mate to score but the rest of it's a bit of a blur.
  13. http://i.ebayimg.com/t/Manchester-City-Vintage-Rare-Long-Sleeve-Retro-Kappa-Football-Shirt-Large-/00/s/MTYwMFgxMjAw/z/u0MAAMXQM0FRe-sW/$T2eC16Z,!yME9s5qHstYBRe-sWK7B!~~60_35.JPG Bought this when I was a kid going through a phase of buying cheap football shirts when they were on the way out, it's not bad.
  14. You wrote the book on bland, you fucking megacunt. (Not you, Alan).
  15. It's dreamy but I like the prospect of Neymar & Messi v Suarez & CRonaldo. 3 of the worlds best and a Brazilian who hopefully can be as good as the others if not better than the portuguese and uruguayan one. Is Neymar a t***? There's a beautiful symmetry to the whole thing if he's an alright lad. On the field he is, but nothing like Suarez. More that he loves to humiliate the opposition and dive a fair bit. However, he's an extremely humble guy off the pitch if you only listen to him and don't look at him and his cuntish hairstyle. He's very mature for his age off the pitch and comes across as a genuine guy in interviews. As I said though, on the pitch he can be an extreme c*** but never in a malicious way like Suarez biting I'm always enlightened to hear every single Brazilian footballer/person is such a pillar of society and all-round good egg, keep the descriptions coming. Yeah, because that is exactly the way I've described players like Deco, Ronaldinho, Adriano (the fat one), Luis Fabiano, Dani Alves, Marcelo, Pepe and many others. And also what society do you live in if players that come across as cunts in their professional life are considered pillar of society? Well done IP. Shame on you. Sorry, I thought I'd noticed a trend as I haven't seen any of those character assassinations. If I can call Sting a cunt then you should be capable of similar, that's all I was saying. If you've called a few Brazilians twats then fair enough, soz.

  17. Same on all counts, they've been close to relegation the last couple of years too. Was wondering what happened to Darren Ambrose and he only played 6 games for Birmingham this year, not sure what happened there.
