  1. You all know the score. What if Nolan gets 40 goals? I'll shit in a bowl and eat it. What if Nolan gets 40 goals? I'll shit in a bowl and eat it. What if Nolan gets 8 goals? I'll piss in a cup and drink it. I was just wondering what the arrangements were. It doesn't really work if Messi goes "areet lads, I drank my own piss, wasn't that pleasant, cheers, see ya". Will video evidence be supplied? Or do you think we could inform the club and possibly have it done on the pitch at half time?
  2. Haha I'm sat on the train back down to London and a lad in a Sunderland shirt just got on at Durham. He's getting loads of stick, lads going up to him going "here mate, gimme five man, gimme five, howay" with their hands up.
  3. Nice. Delighted like, would have taken a draw before the match but it was clear after about half an hour that the win was our's if we wanted it.
  4. Anyone know the deal with Nolan's chicken dance btw? Is it symbolic of something or is it just a natural reaction when he scores?
  5. Are you referring to Martin Tyler's Partridge moment just then? "Oooooooh, scary Irish men".
  6. We're saying exactly the same. If this was FIFA I'd have started again with new strips. Great run by Carroll.
  7. Is this post a joke? Assuming I've not missed anything by not reading the last page - no. The post's a joke, alright. In what way? Since when has he been good enough for the Premiership? He's like a mass manufactured central midfielder. Alright all round ability with absolutely zero stand-out qualities. He shouldn't play because he's just coming back from injury and has shown nothing yet to oust others from the team. Not yet. That post's a joke because it's completely dismissive in a way that takes no account of that the facts at hand. He was one of our better players last year. He's not fully fit at the minute. Others are. He's not much worse than the alternatives, nowhere near as much as you're implying anyway. The post's a joke because it does a complete disservice to a player that's done a canny job for us since we brought him in. To say "Guthrie shouldn't start, not ever"... well you get the point, it's a joke of a post. If Barton has one of his regular off-days on Sunday then I doubt you'll notice the difference between him and a half-fit Guthrie, mate.
