The prices didn't look that bad tbh - ranged from about £25-55 according to an advert in the paper this week. I was considering going actually, the prices were ok and it's not far. But then I remembered it would probably be shit and couldn't be arsed. I often go through the exact same routine. I went to one a couple of years ago, but that was free with work.

It's not exactly dependable though, is it? In fact it's totally infuriating. I was up this weekend and gave the Stoke match a miss because I was absolutely skint and couldn't justify it, simple as. Have also had to turn down various suggestions of away trips from the Newcastle fan I work with. It's tough out there atm, man.

This. He went down under a pretty hard challenge when we were making some good movement and then he got back up after a little while and played on. Pulis needs to shut his fucking trap. Agree, he's a jumped-up little prick and his team are fucking rank.

Have to admit that he frustrated me more than most today. He did a good job for us last year and he's got it in him I hope, but when he's playing like he did today there's not much of a reason for him to be on the pitch. Would like to think he'll improve, because I like him.

Would imagine it's based on appearances rather than minutes. There wasn't a great deal to choose between Ben Arfa and Routledge when Ben Arfa went off, and taking Ben Arfa off allowed Guttierez to play in his best position. Although I'm admittedly ignoring the option of taking off Nolan.
