Whelan was talking to SSN earlier today and said they were "in for him" but were "looking at many other targets too". Make of it what you will.

Don't know if it's significant but looking at Newsnow for Wigan Athletic and there isn't one mention of Moses on there. No interest, bid, anything.
-
Not really, it's just a tabloid story. If they were that bothered they'd have bought him then. Privvy to Wigans plans like? Smoke without fire... all that. He's a talent. Everyone agrees. They are trying to buy him now, at a discount price.
-
Shows Wigan have a long term interest in him though.

The Mirror are just taking a punt because Whelan confirmed their interest.

They suspended bets on Beckford coming to Newcastle. Means nowt.

It's gone very quiet from the Moses camp tonight. Hope his agent is in Newcastle.

Selling Kaboul and Begivic to pay this months wages. What happens next month when they can't sell anyone?

Moyes saying that he will only be looking at loan moves, if anything. SSN Rules Everton out.

Ashley busting a corpulent gut to beat Whelan.

Will Ashley be beaten by DW? Good shout, was thinking it myself.

"Moses uses Nile to take Newcastle to the promised land" I could work for the Sun.

He most probably won't as he must have PL options closer to home. If he does then great - if not it'll be like when John Salako preferred Coventry City to us. Remember that ? what? john solako was all but signed until the deal with PSG for geourge weah went pear shaped and they sold him to ac milan and offered us ginola as a sweetener, sory but solako never turned us down, in fact i remember he was very bitter at the way we dropped him like a lead baloon in favour of ginola I thought Salako failed his medical? He did.

Don't think it will happen till the weekend, probably not till Monday. Administraitors trying to screw as much money out for him. That doesn't make much financial sense tbh. They could wait till Monday as it is a definate deadline. Flush out as much money as they can, knowing that at least three Championship clubs are interested. Sell him for £1.5mil today or wait till Monday and get £3mil. £1.5 more in three days. Not a bad hourly rate. Do you know how much administration costs? As soon as a price that is what they value him at is met they will accept it. They have turned down bids already, so that doesn't back up your argument. Eh? As soon as a price that is what they value him at It was the crazy wording that threw me.

Apologies, just read it properly. Yes it does.
