Don't think it will happen till the weekend, probably not till Monday. Administraitors trying to screw as much money out for him. That doesn't make much financial sense tbh. They could wait till Monday as it is a definate deadline. Flush out as much money as they can, knowing that at least three Championship clubs are interested. Sell him for £1.5mil today or wait till Monday and get £3mil. £1.5 more in three days. Not a bad hourly rate.

I'd think they'd be after someone more proven given their pressing need for points, hence the RVN interest. May be wrong mind. I'd think we'd more likely face competition from Arsenal and Spurs who have history of taking punts on up and coming talent. Wenger has been quoted this morning that he is unlikely to sign anyone before Monday. Doesn't count him out completely but good news for us if true. Spurs would be a disaster for the kid himself.

West Ham are the big threat I think. They have ended their interest in signing Benjani.

He most probably won't as he must have PL options closer to home. If he does then great - if not it'll be like when John Salako preferred Coventry City to us. Remember that ? John Salako failed a medical (dodgy knees if I remember) and Keegan fucked him off. That's why he is so biased against us when he is a pundit.

Expect Shola to spit his dummy right out if Moses comes here and asks for the number 9.

Isn't his best position as a "second striker". Perfect fit for us ATM. Here's hoping!

Burnley have signed Leon Cort from Stoke for £1.5mil

Actually wouldn't be surprised if he (Warnock) walked. Has been saying for a while he has options. -

Must have thrown their preparations for tonight into chaos. Warnock will be going ballistic. -
It doesn't say if it's a loan or permanent deal

That's an appalling decision if true.

No disrespect to the club but it couldn't have happened to a better chairman.

Palace just gone into Administration SSN 10 point deduction. -
Humbled... It's only because I'm on night shift and have just gotten out of my pit.

Thank f*** for that http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,12875_5884548,00.html He's alright as a right back though. If he's gone to Reading looks like we probably didn't promise him a return like Harewood.

Yup same source mate... Me

Transfer fee now sorted everyone happy he's on his way according to SSN.

He injured himself on Monday night, and it's just became public 4 days later by one journalist. Hardly like we've advertised the fact is it? I didn't make myself clear, sorry. I meant Caulkin who I know has a duty to report news but he's f***ed us in the arse be revealing it. it's his job. Kinda also backs up the fact the club aren't doing enough to secure the squad for the rest of the season. I know it's his job. He must have been conflicted when he reported it, seems really passionate about NE football and Newcastle in particular. Besides, you always hear journo's talking about shit that has happened at Manure, Chelsea et al that never sees the light of day till much later, because they are licking the boots of Ferguson so he doesn't ban them from the press room!

Panic! Why make this public while we are negotiating for defenders? Surely it just weakens our position. I'm all for freedom of the press but the timing is unfortunate.

Always looked decent. Did a job in a bad 'Boro side in the Premiership too.
