with tiote and cabaye back, where would you play him ? In a midfield 3 with Tiote and Cabaye. HBA, Ba and Cisse in front. Jonas has been woeful since Wolves away i was close to thinking that till fulham, then it came back how poor guthrie is off the ball. IMO he's earned his place more than any of the other options and has looked quality when having to come in for Tiote or Cabaye. His movement off the ball won't be a problem in that three because of the work rate of the other two which leaves Guthrie to do what he does best, spray the ball around.
