Dunfermline have been thrown out of the Scottish Cup for fielding an ineligible player against Stenhousemuir, but the Pars intend to appeal. Dunfermline ran out 7-1 winners against Stenhousemuir, but Calum Woods, who should have been suspended, featured as a second half substitute. As a result of the administrative the SFA looked into the matter and they have now decided to expel the Pars from the competition. Dunfermline have confirmed they plan to appeal the sanction feeling they have been harshly dealt with. As it stands Stenhousemuir face the prospect of having a money-spinning fifth round tie against Celtic if the Glasgow giants overcome Morton in their reaaranged fourth round clash.

It has also been moved to Monday, March 29 (kick off 7.45pm). All thanks must be made to Sky.
-
So basically if either club have an FA Cup replay then it will be postponed again then.
-
Woundering how long it would take for them to cash in on it, atleast we got ours for free. Anyway, in the Aviva advert, with "GREEN ARMY" he says that he went to 22 away games last season, surely it's 23?
-
And lost to Arsenal or Chelsea. I doubt we will, I'm sure by that point we would of came up against one of the big 4 (okay 2 of them are out), or the following pack of clubs who would relise that theirs money in the competition or for one of the following teams would relise that it's their only chance of a trophy.

Meanwhile Kilgallon goes back on a certain move here, Simpson says he wants to sign full time and Sir Alex says it's ok, but still half way through and he hasn't signed yet, Harewood has left the club, along with Zurab. And to top it all off we manage to hang onto our biggest waste of space bar Butt, in Geremi. I did say nothing would be done within the first 2 weeks though, and to be honest I actually think nothing will untill the last few days of the of the window itself, however I gave myself some more breathing space.

Am I right in thinking theirs no highlights being shown?
-
I think that was the number of of tickets sold before the game via the box office, and it doesn't include those who payed on the turnstiles, so the figuer maybe a few thousand higher then that.
-
It's going to be a very tough game, I think we are capable of winning it, not sure if we will or not, so long as we don't lose it really. I'd sawp a win in the league for them to win in the cup though.
-
I'm pretty sure the Plymouth team would of flown up, and so too would most Plymouth fans, no need for this to get called off. I'm also sure their will be about 20k there atleast.

Wigan have pinched Boro's deal for Gary Caldwell.
-
.co.uk said £20 to me.
-
I would even wish this on Hull, or wait a minute, yes I would.
-
The amount of money Ashley has lost by gambling it away on the Black Jack The amount of money the club has lost this month through educated gambles.
-
£20 a ticket, would of thought they would of put it down to £15, and £10 tops for kids. Should do a family deal, 4 people for £35, would bring in the money via the food and drink.
-
Actually I think the players Boro are bringing will be good enough for a decent promotion challaenge, too late foran automatic spot, but could very well push them into the play off's, if they fail to go up this year then I would bet against them being up their next season. Shame that they are going out and buying player though and pushing on during the transfer window while we have lost our dead on certain to sign target, becoming closer on missing out on Beckford, don't appear to be doinganything concerning Simpson yet, and have so far maanged to hang onto Geremi. I did say that I wouldn't expect anything to happen within the first 2 weeks though, and I'll stand by that.

This is the new Africa 3rd kit, which all African teams who have their kits made by Puma will have. http://www.worldcupblog.org/files/2010/01/unity-image.jpg Lose the skin tightness, and the logo's on the sleeves and thats one good kit.

Don't know if this was has been said, probs has but I can't be arsed to look through all the pages to see. People are asking the question, was Adebayor ran the full length of the bus to confront the gunners? Edit: Botherd to look and it has been said.

leeds want to look at the bigger picture, they are being offerd £1.5m for a player in the 3rd division of the English football league who is out of contract in the summer, now enough with the were Leeds and were hanigng onto him because were a big club and he's a big player, agree to let him go for that price. Theirs players in the Premier League who are leaving for less then that because their contract is up at the end of the season.

You mean Mali. Malawi beat Algeria today 3-0 Aye, Mali
-
Last nights game, when Malawi came from 4-0 down to draw with only 15 miuntes left confirmed that most of the countries in this competition really are crap, some good goals but only created by very weak defences. On the subject of Togo leaving, I had a very weird dream that somehow Ireland were given their place because of the whole France and Handball thing.

:mackems: :mackems: at the Man City fans getting excited about Veira, saying he was good at Arsenal, chrsit that was years ago and he should be on a zimmer frame by now surely. Also, Fulham are about to sign Kaka, Okaka though.
-
According to SSN, Birmingham may or may not of made a £11m bid for Jones at Sunderland. Seems weird though, all of Birminghams bids lately have been at the £3m mark.

Don't fret, tooj, we have it on very good authority that Beckford is currently undergoing a very, very, very, very long medical at the moment at a hospital in Newcastle. Roz Harmison taking care of it then? http://img138.imageshack.us/img138/5866/rosharm.jpg I'd give her a medical.
