  1. So 24 wins and 1 draw, has anyone failed to be promoted on 90 points, and also has anyone failed to finish top on 90 points?
  2. Lots of rumours about us and Beckford, apparently dependant on Viduka's move to Leeds, I guess whatever was going to happen, the rumours about Beckford would come about in anyway.
  3. Anyone else heard about Zander Diamond to West Brom?
  4. Some guy on that Chronicle live thinks he's just saw Beckford at St James' Park, strange how he's probs still at home in his pj's sitting at his computer, eh?
  5. he signed for a team back in Brazil on loan from CSKA Moscow just last month I'm just going by what I have heard.
  6. Vagnor Love is rumoured to be having a medical at Celtic with 2 English teams and one Italian team also interested in him.
  7. Danny Collins signs for Stoke from Sunderland for £2.75m.
  8. This is going to be a very hard game, but we might be able to take advantage of them being down after their defeat to Doncaster Rovers, while we got a win against Liecester City. This will be a tough game, touger then West Brom in my opinion and probs the toughest we will get all season, but Cardiff have a habit of starting well and falling away, hopefully we can catch them at the right time, if we do win then I wouldn't really want to bet against us having 30 points out of our first 11 games.

    RIP sale thread.

I have a source from inside the club, he says "f#ck is happening, just a load random rumours, their has never even been a US group interested in taking over us, and Moat had no money but tried to pull a deal together with Mr Shepard, which failed." And thats official.

    How many games?

I would say 5 in a life time, but ofcourse special dispensation can be given to those who are in poverty, and those who live far away, like USA, Canada etc.

Whats this positive attitude that you speak in?
  12. £8m, not bad, plus the £9m for Martins, whatever we get for Beye and the pennies we will get for Edgar, it will soon all mount up, not to mention we have the Argies to go, ane hopefully Barton on a permanant deal.

    RIP sale thread.

The sign of big red letter saying "no sale" come to mind for some reason.
  14. Is Bilc still available? Jol would of been a good choice, but Ajax got to him first.
  15. Someone on the NUFC blog heard it's on a 3 year deal, but not from an official source. Unless SSN or some other source with atleast some credability says it, and not just from some Joe Blogs I won't believe it.
  16. RIP Sir Bobby, a man of honour, and a man in football who was a true gent, he will not only be missed by teams whom he managed and played for, but all of football, their will never be one like him ever again. It's great to see that even in his illness he did not stop, he created a charity to help other who may have to go through what he went through, only a real person could do something like that. It has been heartbreaking to see him so weak over the last few years, and I was almost in tears on Sunday night seeing him in a wheelchair, such a shame for such a strong person, but now he is no longer in pain.

    RIP sale thread.

Anyone else getting sick of those guys at Toontastic spreading takeover rumours?
  19. Cardross Up from Scotland? haha sorry down. working at 4am makes me tired lol. what part of Scotland you from Scottish Mag? Near Loch Lomond Doesn't that mean it could be anywhere within the region of the highlands to Northern Glasgow, I.E. Milgavnie, Bishoppbriggs arn't all that far away, 30-45 mins away max. Which is like Blyth, Morpeth and AShington distances from Newcastle.
  20. I went today, and I have to say their is not a person in football that I respect more then Sir Bobby. I must also say that in my own feeling, today was not just a charity event, but it was him saying good bye, him going off out of the public eye for how ever long he has left, him saying thankyou and giving us a bit of joy aswell, but also, typically him, giving something back, helping unfortunate people. I say back to him, thankyou Sir Bobby, not just giving everything to our club and turning it around, but for all of football, alll of the players who you have helped get back on track, get the best out of, turn the carrers around, all the people who you have met and made an impression on, and all of those in your final legacy by saving their lives from cancer, not now, but long after you have gone aswell. Thank you Sir Boby, and enjoy your time left in private, and in comfort with your friends and family.
  21. It wouldn't surprise me if Mark Hughes is in his office now, blasting everyone for releasing this information.
  22. St James's Park is owned by Newcastle council, and the bids are not from the football clubs, but from the cities, so Newcastle's position does not count, only that of the ground and city facilities. I thought the ground was owned by the football club (well Ashley really) No, he paid for some sort of lease, meaning that the freehold is held by Newcastle city council, and that if NUFC where to ever not exist (god forbid) or move away etc, then the lease would be terminated and Newcastle city council would be left with a stadium.
