Shields ferry can’t get funding for a new terminal at North Shields, no chance are we getting funding for a floating stadium man.

Ok, I’m not so sure about the land difference being much of an issue to be honest. It would mostly only affect the southern part of it. This would give you basically what you already have with the arena. There are different things you could do though. The most reasonable and basic one would be to just pile the southern end and put retaining walls in, with various steps and access ramps. Another solution would be to take out some of the land, maybe have a mid height between the northern end and the southern end. The northern end could have supporters coming in and largely going through access points that go down the stand rather than up it, and have the southern end where you have to go up instead. It also allows for creativity, so maybe have an underground carpark, or do what Spurs do and have storage space for 2nd pitches that just get stored away.

Insigne with an insane goal for Toronto FC.
-
Matty Longstaff almost scored with his first touch for Toronto FC.

I swear the fuck down, scheduled KO times mean fuck all in North America. Everytime I watch an MLS or CPL match they always kick off late, and I don’t mean by a minute or two. Toronto were supposed to KO at 7pm, still waiting.
-
Fucking scumbags. Basically they don’t want to be caught with their pants down. Anyone going now is just allowing it, might as well post your money directly through the chairman’s letter box.

Transfer levy for Premier League clubs to be voted on Monday in order to pay the EFL. Eventually Premier League clubs would need to pay 7% of any transfer fee when buying from any club outside of the EFL.
-
Possibly, but it just shows how far they have fallen when a few weeks ago they were in it, and couldn’t be shaken out of those positions.

13 points adrift of the playoffs as it stands.
-
Aye, I hope they do it though, even if they do have to do it via the play offs.

Don Goodman, perfect at telling you problems after a goal, but silent before a goal is scored and unable to identify a problem. Honestly man, he’s another insufferable commentator.
-
Can’t even listen to him, fucking hate how speaks by replacing the th sound for an f. Thucking fick cunt.

It’s Wee Philly, we all know that he’s a Chubby Brown wannabe cringe fest.
-
I’m watching Cardiff vs Ipswich. Ipswich and Leeds seem to have close to the same fixtures left, it will be interesting to see who grabs 2nd place.
-
Go on Donny. When they did that drop from the Championship, all the way down to League 2, there was an expectation that they would bounce back and be a force in League One. It’s never happened and they run the risk of going out of the football league again.

The bit next to Central Motorway where the bridge hotel is, but not enough land there.

I’m not a fan of him because he knows literally nothing. I have an interested in architecture and urban development, and as such have a basic knowledge of things. When he discusses stuff like urban development he gets the basic stuff consistently wrong. The whole stuff around the St James Terrace was painful to watch to be honest.

I was on about the non-top 6 clubs. Out of them you have us, and Villa who want to kick on. You have Everton, and Forest currently under investigation and facing a points deduction for spending money to compete at their respective levels. You also have Leicester coming up who also face sanctions. You then have Palace who can’t build their new stand that they have been trying to buy land for over the past 5 years or more, and have only just bought. There is also a growing discontent with Masters over the TV deals not being as high as they would expect, as well as losing iconic sponsors such as Nike.
-
For me, both of them are on the fringes of the city centre. If you go North past SJP, you are out of the city centre. If you went West past the arena, you are out of the city centre. I have already said it before, if you are travelling by a mainline train or a Metro that goes via Central station, then it’s a good move. If you are travelling in by bus then it’s a bit more of a chew on, as the bus stations are a bit North, which you would need to consider for the late KO’s. If we moved to the arena site, then the Metro station at Central will be heaving. At the moment the supporters are split up between SJP, Monument, Haymarket, Jesmond, and Central station Metro stations. In terms of public transport, a Leazes Park stadium would probably be better for the majority of local fans, where as the arena would be better for away fans and homes fans coming from outside the area. The city centre debate is muddled with people’s definition of a city centre, some people think the retail core is the city centre, which automatically discounts Central station. Others, an in my opinion the correct way of thinking it, see it as a whole city, not just the retail core.
-
It all depends on the non-big 6 clubs though. If they start getting fucked about with FFP etc, I can’t see them wanting to keep people like Masters who they will view as in their pockets.
-
Masters will be gone soon. Clubs are already turning on him, even outside of FFP, his tenure has been a disaster. The other 14 will vote to have him gone, and that’s if he plays nice by letting both Chelsea, and Man City off.

Why would no one be interested in NFL games? It’s not exclusive to residents of Newcastle to attend. Many NFL fans for the London games are from America and elsewhere in Europe. We have connections to elsewhere in Europe with our airport and the DFDS ferry. On top of this, the U.K.’s USA sports merchandisers was founded and is still based in North Shields.

New York City have just announced their new stadium, and they will have a 7 storey club shop.

You could get black & white wallpaper, which is ironic when you think that Ashley stopped it and claimed his money was as useless as wallpaper.
