Palace beating Spurs.

Brentford level against Chelsea.

One more injured player to make you feel comfortable?

Chance for Ipswich here. Leeds drew, Southampton further back behind and losing, Leicester losing, a win and they go in to 2nd spot, and potentially only 3 behind leaders Leicester.

Postman hasn’t turned up for me.

Not sure about Anfield, externally I like the brick work, but inside it looks boring. It might have a smaller capacity, but Everton’s stadium will be the better of the two, although again I hope we out do them, and do something more like the new White Heart Lane.

They have only starting to change their minds on things now that they have acquired land needed for their new £100m stand in the last few weeks.

He was before my time as a legend, but honestly I’ve met him a couple of times and there is something not quite right about Malcolm Macdonald like. I can’t put my finger on it, and I can’t really give a specific example, but do you know when you meet someone and you just think there is something off? I think my stepdad feels the same way, he does a lot for North Shields Athletic, which my stepdad is involved in. He’s not said it per say, but I get the impression that my stepdad thinks he’s a bit arrogant, but allows him to brush it over and still be in awe of him a bit because he was a club legend when my stepdad was young. As for North Shields, I’ve told them at meetings, on social media etc. They simply just do not give a fuck. They have a little club house there that sells cheap larger, and such, but they rarely have it open outside of matchdays. At the risk of bordering being disrespectful, but it’s in an area where they wouldn’t really have much of a problem gaining customers if they opened it up outside of match days and the very occasional Friday night. They should easily be able to afford to have at least 1 paid staff member there as well.

Had a dream last night that we won in the quarter final of the League Cup, and the only big-ish team left in it were Liverpool who were playing at home vs the mackems. The mackems went a goal up, but Liverpool levelled, then the mackems went 2-1 up in the last 10 minutes, Liverpool must have went all out because the mackems went 6-1 up with only a minute left, cunts still let Liverpool level in stoppage time, and it went to penalties. All of us sort of hoping the me lens would win because if we got them in the semi’s over two legs, we fancied ourselves. The favourites behind us if Liverpool had went out would have been Wolves, and Bournemouth.

I paid £30 for one, booking fee at £2.50 is a disgrace though. I still don’t see why it’s on a Monday when you have Friday night, Saturday, and Sunday all available.

Once the SBR years were over it was poor.

Fucking ridiculous. Honestly if fans are paying to be on some sort of board and they are not keeping up their end, then surely there is someone to report them too.

I fully expect that we’ll end up with this as our home shirt, swapping the blue for black. https://www.footyheadlines.com/2023/05/adidas-argentina-2024-home-kit.html

It’s a whole lot of no news really. https://www.removepaywall.com/article/current

Him and his mate Parish all kept voting for it though, they were happy to have a glass ceiling above them, so long as they had that floor below them. It’s only because they are talking about making stadium improvements count towards FFP, just when they have bought land off Sainsbury’s for their new £100m stand which they won’t be able to afford if those rules are brought in. Complaining now is like the Cow taking the Sheep to the slaughter house, and trying to argue for its own life when it realises that they kill Cows as well.

It’s an absolutely amazing move for him, although I doubt he’s up to that level. He probably has the best manager out there who can get the best out of him, and I hope he does well there. He’s young enough to still have a chance and to make himself a legend there if things click for him.

A lot of the obvious ones have been said, but under SBR when we qualified for the Champions League, we needed at least a RB, and 2 CB’s. Getting Woodgate earlier, getting Southgate, Carr a season earlier, even could have said to get Barry and we would have been set very well.

The petition got rejected.

Very loose rumours that he’s joining Toronto I think.

In all fairness, I’m not against FFP, but it needs to be implemented differently. There is no good having a ceiling of what a club can bring in and what they can spend, allowing the Sky 6 to buy who they want. Should just top the outgoings to the top teams revenue from the previous season + 10%. Any spending above your own revenues should be matched in a yearly bond held by a 3rd party incase the owner does a runner. Should also scrap being allowed to being in stupid amounts of debt, and debt should correlate to your losses. Stadiums and other infrastructure could be accounted in your costs, but you should be allowed to amortise it for 20-25 years after the completion date, so clubs can afford to upgrade their facilities. No more limits on what you can and can’t use in terms of revenue and commercial sponsorship deals.

My point is that by the same token surely you want her nowhere near the club as well.

Staveley herself comes from a Conservative family, and her father is a large land owner through generational wealth, and lineage through the royal family.
