The middle of the season finale makes it a weird feeling, so does the random 2 legged semi final. I think it has a place, but something needs to be done about the schedule, especially having 2 legged semi’s in January when you are just finishing the Christmas/New Year schedule, and are coming into FA Cup games. I honestly wouldn’t be adverse to combining it with the Scottish League Cup, however Rangers & Celtic aside no Scottish team would win it, as well as Plymouth being able to play Inverness on a Tuesday night isn’t ideal.

Watching on TV, never heard a peep from them at all. As I have already mentioned, twice in the 2nd half their players had to try and get them to start cheering, including 50 seconds from full time.

They are nothing special. They are in a false position in the league mainly down to the fact that everyone seems to be having an average at best season. This run of form they are jacking themselves about isn't that impressive. Watch the games they play in, they are losing large spells of games where they are 2nd best. Heck if Leeds didn’t have that drop off towards the end of games that teams at the bottom have, they would have taken 4 points off them in the last month. They didn’t even win their group in the Europa League. They look bang fucking average with 1 really good player, and another having the form of his life that he’s never shown before, and will probably not show again once this season is over. If the referee didn’t practically score their 1st goal for them yesterday, the only way they would have won is on penalties. Next season you would expect Chelsea, Liverpool, and Spurs to be stronger. The fight will be harder for them to reach the top. They will be nicely distracted by a takeover which if it does happen, will end up being leveraged as fuck, further limiting their ability to invest. On top of that in the coming years they are pretty much going to have to rebuild Old Trafford, again this will limit spending. It’s alright though, because they keep raving about a manager who did well at a club who only have to turn up to win their league, and sacked off 1 of the best Premier League defenders this season for someone who was found at this level, fucking genius isn’t he?

Nah, I’m not having that. It’s a major cup, it goes down in major honours lists. You can’t pick and choose, especially after you paid your money to go as well. As I said earlier though, their fan base is history. Sure there might have been some serious fans of theirs in the past, but winning things to them means nothing now. The vast majority of their fans are made up of people who have a passing interest in the sport and have chosen them because they regularly win things. Those who were loyal supporters before the success are now so used to winning things that when they do win things, it’s not special to them anymore. That club honestly has nothing going for them, it’s like a Fabergé egg, looks the part on the outside, absolutely fucking hollow on the inside.

Nah, they scraped that a long time ago for the League Cup, and a few seasons ago for the FA Cup.

I’m proud of the club and our fans, however I’m still disappointed we lost, and also it’s much more bitter because they got the decision which won them the game.

Honest opinion, they don’t have a 2nd gear. I’ve seen them a few times this season, and they are never really that much stronger than the other team. They ultimately get the referee onside and get the decisions to kill games. I don’t think they have a 2nd gear and I think sooner or later they will be found the fuck out.
