Just draw the line when the ball has already left the foot and don’t check the angle in behind.

Surely that was penalty at the end there?

Surely this isn’t Arsenal time wasting?

I’m not saying your dad isn’t loyal. What I’m saying is that your dad or someone like him may not have attended an away match for years, yet someone who has been to every away game this season or even the last few seasons could lose out to someone who’s not been to one for years. Whatever happens though, someone will lose out. On the flip side you’ll have half a stadium full of Man Utd fans who aren’t particularly arsed about this competition all attending. They have also been able to buy corporate tickets for half the price of the Newcastle alternative ones. A nigh on 90,000 seater stadium, and one finalist who has no more than 35k season tickets holders can’t all attend.

You could make a case for anyone really. Longstaff would be great because he’s a local lad who has came up through the system. Burn because he had to go away for a chance in football and came back to play for us. Almirón so he can shut up everyone and finish his redemption story after Bruce ruined him. Isak so getting a trophy and scoring in a final off his back, and if he is to go on and be the success we think he is, he only has 200-ish goals ahead of him to put him above Shearer. Lascelles for his final captains bow out. Trippier because he is a symbol of what the club is now. Botman because he has been solid whilst having us and this would give him some deserved appreciation. Schar for the reasons above. Bruno for similar to Trippier. Joelinton for the same as Almirón. Willock because he believed in the club after just seeing what it was like to play for us for only 6 months. Wilson because the team has relied on him for past 2 years, and he’s helped carry us. ASM for the same reasons as Wilson. Pope because it would be funny as fuck if we beat Man Utd with our keeper scoring the winning goal.

Everyone would have their own definition of fair though. Should all season ticket holders get the tickets regardless if they purchased a ticket? Should it go by season ticket holders/members who went to most home cup games? In my option they did the best they could. I think there maybe some sort of rule which states that a certain percentage of tickets should go to those who don’t have a season ticket, hence why the latter stages of allocation happened.

So that’s what that Cup a couple of months back was all about?

USA, Mexico, and Canada will all qualify automatically for the next World Cup as they are all joint hosts. 1 more team from CONCACAF will join them.
-
Do the hosts get to put forward a team to participate?

Like jumping from the frying pan straight into the chip pan covered in water.

You know what’s worse, a few years ago the FA asked for clubs to put forward teams who they would be willing to find to go professional. Any team doing so would be promoted all the way to the Super League, I’m sure Man Utd managed to gain from this. Needless to say, Ashley had no intention of doing that for us.

I think people are looking/fearing a bit much. If you look at Man Utd’s recent games they haven’t played massively well. They have been conceding at the back, and even a poorly performing Leeds team were able to go to Old Trafford, and take a 2 goal lead before throwing the game away. Ok we do not look our best right now, but Man Utd look beatable as well. As I’ve said, they will have played 4 times between our game this weekend and the Cup Final, compared to our 1 game. They will also play 2 times between our Liverpool game and the final. They will be and always were going to be favourites, but we have probably just as much of a chance as they do. Aside from their arrogance, I doubt many on their side would be massively relishing playing us either.
-
So 2 game where our best player has been missing, and we still got a draw in each game despite not being at our best?
-
Fuck sake, why say that ahead of the final?
-
His excuse about the red card for Wolves going against them was up there with Pardew’s ‘We celebrated too much’ excuse after we scored what should have been a stoppage time winner against Crystal Palace, who then equalised. Pardew later went onto celebrate what should have been a stoppage time winner against Man Utd in a cup final by dancing, only to then concede and lose the final.
-
‘If you slow this down and look at it closely, what you’ll see if that the referee and VAR said it wasn’t a penalty, so therefor it wasn’t a penalty’ I mean technically he’s not wrong.
-
It’s all a pack of lies. They originally said it was so they could compete with English clubs, yet invited the top 6 from England in with them.
-
I present to you and raise you, Fulham.
-
They play 4 times between now and the final, we play once. They also play twice between our Liverpool game and the final.
-
We’ll keep it for the final thanks.
