  1. I’d imagine you’d have more confidence with those results, than a loss to Wolves (19th), loss to Bournemouth, loss to Spurs, and a month ago a draw to Ipswich.
  2. With Willock, he’s not going to be the player we need him to be long term. He’s inconsistent, and he’s injury prone. I was surprised to see that Hayden is still on our books, so we should be looking to sell him as well, even if it means we have to pay his wages until his contract runs out in the summer.

    St James' Park

If you use it via Apple News, it shows no ads.
  4. Teams who play a higher press like us typically see a better 2nd half of the season than the first half.

Breath taking images apparently seen by club staff of both proposals. https://apple.news/Aj2YXb_GgTDSqGza32et5iA
  6. He’s not getting that physicality in the Premier League, especially against the red tops.
  7. They are. £160, and sold out.
  8. Not the way the Premier League are doing it which is largely untested. They could have signed a football supplier deal with Adidas which would have allowed for the version they use in the World Cup and Champions League, but no, they signed up with Puma.
  9. They have had them a little while now. Apart from the fact that they are Arsenals, they look great to be honest.
  10. Not really, could have just bought 1 keeper.
  11. Not NUFC related, and no mention of PIF, but this is worth noting. https://www.insidermedia.com/news/north-east/north-east-to-play-role-in-creation-of-clean-hydrogen-institute-facility-is-being-created-through-partnership-between-the-uk-and-saudi-arabia
  12. For every one of them you have bought, there is a Casemiro, Weghorst, Evans, Dubravka, Butland, Erikson, Varane, Ronaldo, Heaton, Cavani, Ighalo, and Lee Grant.
  13. There is fuck all left of their fanbase to make any sort of protest. Even 25 years ago, it was a stretch to get any sort of momentum going for anything. Too many people there now are just day trippers. People who either have never been to Old Trafford before, or who go infrequently. Even the green and yellow shirts would get a hard sell. People going want to go into the club shop, get the official shirt, the key rings, the Man Utd travel pillow for their flight home. They don’t want to buy a protest shirt off a protest group. A few years after their fans did a protest with the green and yellow shirts, the club went and brought it out as a 3rd shirt, and it sold by the truckload, defeating the fucking point in it. It’s the same with singing and chanting. The people going don’t know the songs and chants, it’s why it’s quiet unless they score a goal and you get a roar by the sheer amount of people cheering a goal. That’s all you get, what’s left there is customers, not fans. I’m not saying that there isn’t any hardcore fans who go, but they are vastly outnumbered by the Man Utd customers, and if Jim the Rat is able to deliver this new stadium, it will only get worse. In fact Jim himself is just indicative of the average Old Trafford match goer now. Someone who calls themselves a fan, but has a season ticket for Chelsea, and has signed up a lucrative sponsorship deal with Spurs, whilst having his fingers in the pie with 2 other clubs.
  14. If this was at home, I’d expect a fairly easy win, even if the score line may only be 1-0. These cunts have a knack of beating us at OT though, only 2 wins there in something like 40 years.
  15. My lass got me it as well, and the cat has made biscuits on me and clicked it. Fucking cunt.
  16. Take the names out of it, and you fully expect the team who is in 5th place on Boxing Day to go and win against the team who are 14th on Boxing Day.
  17. I said this when Jim the rat came in and took Ashworth. Man Utd don’t want to buy the youngster who needs a couple of years to develop into great players. They want the big names. They have a squad of big names, but they are too old, their best years are behind them, some of them have left clubs like Real Madrid, others know that they are not going to Real Madrid. They have already made it by arriving at Man Utd, or they have peaked and are on the downward spiral. But Nan Utd need the big name player, because shirt sales, and 1,000 sponsors rely on it. Until they are prepared to make the sacrifice and built a team like Brighton have, and how us and Aston Villa are trying to do, then they are going nowhere. Sacking Ashworth is the biggest indication that they aren’t prepared to do that.
  18. Got to hope that fog lifts so the ferries can take the Liverpool fans back home to Dublin, god forbid if they had to actually stay in Liverpool for the night.
  19. Yeah but over here it’s about making the right call, for the right team. Thats why the Patriots haven’t won a Super Bowl for a few years, because you guys are all about equal fairness.
  20. Would the Liverpool fans not be better off at the theatre or something? Absolutely fuck all animation from them.
  21. They literally took the point the ball was played as a reference back a free frames to make him onside.
