  1. Didn't 'Appy 'Arry say he wouldn't let him out on loan again as the 'paid good money for him'. I took this as, we'll either scarcely play him or sell him. I'm thinking nearer the end of the window where no one has come in and offered cash for him. They'd be stupid to have him on the books not playing getting a year older while not getting on with saggy face. Of course they'd want a permanent move, i just don't see anyone coming in for him, especially at the price Spurs would want. Aye, maybe you're right like. I guess it depends on a few factors then. Wait and see if anybody does want to splurge the cash on him, and if we sign a striker before the last few days of the window. Spurs would be silly to keep hold of him though if he isn't going to play.

The appeal was 14 days from last Friday, so a week on Friday. I reckon it'll not be officially confirmed by the club until the Monday 26th July. Aye, this is what I originally thought too. Surely Everton don't have a leg to stand on with regards to the appeal.
  4. Presumably they plan on replacing him with a talented football player?
  5. Maybe not 'equal' parts. I'd say more 3% and 97%
  6. Aye, he'd be ruined there. I fucking long for the day that Rory Delap breaks his arm and Stoke have to learn to play football. Horrible, horrible football team.
  7. Despite what I already knew and liked about him myself, upon reading that 'in a nutshell' description, it just makes me realise that our chances of signing him are slim. Yeah, pretty much. From what I saw of him I'd be astonished if we had any sort of chance. Nobody's bid, so by that logic we have just as much a chance as anyone else at this exact moment. Kazeiro I fucking love your avatar. Last year we had Shola eating an apple on a bike, this year with the boxing gloves. I can't wait to see what next season will bring
  8. Ronaldinho to Flamengo??
  9. Baseless from what I can see. Would be nice though...

  12. I'd love it if we went for him. £3-4 million is a bargain. This. He'd add SO much to our midfield it's unreal. His physicality and dynamism could literally be the difference between relegation and stating up. Absolutely. The fact that it appears Rosenberg haven't had any bids is a good thing for us and any potential bid. We should stick a £3m offer on the table as, despite the 'no capital outlay' speech I think we can comfortably afford that, especially considering sell on potential and profitability. As much as I would love Annan here, we shouldn't be thinking like this. It'll only disappoint us when we don't even make a move for him. True. I just think it's inevitable that we won't move for him and he'll end up at some German club who pay £2.5m for him. I'd have loved us to have had a punt on Jong Tae-Se especially at the price he moved for. We live in hope.

  15. So much for kick racism out of football. Joke that any team would even consider signing someone who's openly racist. Maybe politics shouldn't come into football, but examples have to be set and he's clearly gonna cause unrest in any dressing room he enters. Agreed. Bet he hates his last name.

  17. He could quite possibly revert to playing as a striker there and, provided he stays fit for the season, maybe even get double figures. I believe that you are joking, but just incase you are not joking... Glad my sarcasm comes over via the web

If we're talking natural talent then he is. It's down to him and Chris to get the best out of him on the pitch but as far as natural talent goes he is the best we have.

He's been a massive twat, yes. From memory though, since he said way back last year that he'd changed and that he'd give his all at Newcastle I don't recall reading a bad word about him. If he played for anybody else he'd be the biggest cunt in football but he plays for us so I'm more inclined to give him a break. I'm not arsed if he's managed not to be a bell end for 12 months. In that time he's hardly played. I'd love to get rid of him tbh. If he gets himself fit and stays out of trouble he could be a good player for us. I'm hopeful, not expectant.

  21. Oh aye, from his wiki page "Ronaldinho's career began with the Grêmio youth squad. He made his senior side debut during the 1998 Copa Libertadores.[13] In 2001, Arsenal expressed interest in signing Ronaldinho, but the move collapsed after he could not obtain a work permit because he was a non-EU player who had not played enough international matches.[14] He considered playing on loan with Scottish Premier League side St. Mirren, which never happened due to his involvement in a fake passport scandal in Brazil.[15] In 2001, Ronaldinho signed a five-year contract with French side Paris Saint-Germain in a €5.1 million transfer"
