I didn't say brilliant, I said influential in the right system. My point is, I'm not writing him off as you seem to be. That's fair enough mate, each to their own. I think 'effective in the right system' is as good as anyone can hope for from Big Vurn at this point like אמרתי משפיע , הם ההודעות שלי יוצאותבF *** ing עברית או משהו ? Wha? sorry kazuki, not sure what i did there It essentially means pretty much the same like, but still

Arguably most of our squad need 'replaced with better' but under the right coaching set up, I see a hell of a lot more potential improvement in Anita than the likes of Williamson, Gouffran, Riviere etc He is already an improvement on those three knackers you mentioned, he isn't as bad as them, just a nothing player, someone you forget is even playing. So you forgot he was playing so much, that you exclusively complain about his non-existent performance. And can talk about everything you didn't see, nice one. This makes absolutely no sense, poor effort. Your midfield should be able to influence a game. He doesn't, you could go by huge chunks of the game and not even know he is on the pitch, which is right to complain about. I'd argue he could quite possibly have a greater effect on influencing games if he's coached by competent people and in a system that is trying to play football.

Try watching him play then, it might help. Get to fuck man. He looks to move the ball quickly once he receives it, that's how he was coached at Ajax and is a very different thing to treating it like a hot potato. I'll concede that being pressed heavily by the opposition midfield with poor options to pass to is absolutely not his thing.

I remember the Swansea game (2-3) after Abeid came on, he had the ball about the halfway line and ended up passing it backwards and the crowd got restless - he was visibly moving his arms in different directions, encouraging the rest of the team to give him options and they were just completely static. They're simple things in football we've been getting wrong for years now. It really is going to take a while to get that right. That's Pardew, and his 'coaching' set ups legacy here.
  11. Maybe he'll look better with someone like Colo next to him who might compliment him better than the clumsy and nervous Williamson. Hopefully. It really is an absolute attrocity that Williamson has played at this level more than a handful of times, let alone the number of appearances he's clocked up for us. Literally, the only thing I can think is that every day in training he's like Franco Baresi.

David Silva, Santi Cazorla, Aaron Lennon, Nathan Dyer, Leon Britton, Joe Allen - they've all proved to be very capable at this level. I don't buy into the argument that you can be 'too small', certainly as a midfielder. Personally I think Anita's development has been completely crippled under our previous set up. He won titles with Ajax, playing a certain brand of football - if he'd joined Swansea for instance, he'd have fitted in seamlessly to their midfield. He's been grossly misused under Pardew and then Carver.

  14. Someone has either been lying or it is really embarrassing that our team still were slower than a fat lazy slug. I'm fairly sure he was quickest over a short distance or something The short distance between the salad and the chips in the canteen, right!? Guys? Right?
  15. How old was Cisse when we signed him? Plus he's African so you can add at least another 10 years onto that.
  16. So in other words he'll fit right in?
  17. Yeah quickest to the fucking canteen at lunch time, amirite guys!? EDIT: No including Andy Woodman who spent his entire summer camped out in there.
  18. Surely this would mean the end of Sissoko? Not that I'd be arsed in the slightest if we had Banega in.
  19. Donating his wages to charity, apparently. Bet he never did that at his other clubs. Now he's earning minimum wage at Shamrock he's all about the charity. Greedy cunt.
  20. Still can't believe he's persisting with that haircut. The 80's are over, Tim. Deal with it.
  21. Obviously it's disappointing to lose but it's still early in pre-season and it's going to take some work to banish the old habits of Pardew and Carver. The goal was very nicely worked, hopefully the hard work can continue with the new coaching set up and we can bring in Wijnaldum-quality signings at least at centre half, up front and out wide.
  22. I don't disagree, but worth remembering that he's still young and most importantly played alongside the partner from hell in a weak side. While I agree with the first part, it wasn't a particularly weak side in relation to the squad we have was it?
  23. It's a who's who of famous bulls.
