McTominay 3/1 to be booked atm, looks a shoe-in as it stands. I've just got nowt in my account and cba to stick more in there. I'm waiting on a Fernandes goal and over 2.5 goals in the game.

I was thinking exactly that when they mentioned the buy-back clause on commentary. They could do much worse.

Has to be Shelvey. Playing either of them against Leicester will be like playing with 10 men. I'd rather play Hendrick than either of them two in the centre tbh. We can't afford Sean's sloppiness or Shelvey's laziness against Leicester. Not saying Hendrick is great, but he's got to be worth a go in the centre at some stage.

Really going for it would perhaps be issuing the legal proceedings in the Competition Appeals Tribunal - which they said they would - not write a load of letters. It's a load of illogical, disorganised emotive crap, pulling fans along for a ride with no logical destination. Atleast they're trying something? Better then doing nothing, or bitching about them online. As far as I can see from their Twitter account they've spent more time slagging off other Newcastle fans than trying to achieve anything meaningful. It's all a scam - strings being pulled primarily by Steve Wraith. What are you doing other than slagging off other Newcastle fans for trying to achieve anything meaningful?

He held onto the ball well, turned and found a man more often than he usually does. I noticed once or twice he could have done with a bit more belief in himself and played a through ball that split second sooner, or tried to run forward and beat his man. Can't complain with last night from him, given what we've seen from him over the last 18 months anyway.

Spot on Nailed it. I've been called out on Twitter for saying something similar.

When the hell did Lee Charnley turn black?!

Always do your research on those boosts; the betting companies aren't daft.

Remember when we won at White Hart Lane with this team... Newcastle: Given, Ramage, Taylor, Huntington, Pattison, Solano, Butt, Milner, Dyer, Martins, Sibierski. Subs Not Used: Harper, Edgar, O'Brien, Carroll, Troisi. How the fuck did we manage to only concede two goals against Defoe and Berbatov with a back four consisting of Peter Ramage, Steven Taylor, Paul Huntington and Matty Pattison The recent shite from Bruce got me thinking the other day about some of the dross we've put out over the years.

Probably something to do with him averaging 0.4 shots on target per game this season, Palace's last two results being 7-0 and 3-0 thrashings, and them coming up against a very good Leicester side sitting 3rd in the table. I could be wrong.

Neves has made one or two fouls though, and has just got in the referees grill. One more niggly foul and he's done imo.
-
I had no idea Wagner had gone.
-
Winks in. Neves to go.

I've said it time and time again, like a lot of our squad he's simply Championship quality. Not enough flair, poor decision making and isn't quick enough over a yard to be a Premier League winger.

I more look forward to Newcastle Eagles games than I do NUFC. As a teenager I lived away from the area and I went to a lot of away games in the early to mid 00's, including going to an away UEFA Cup game at PSV. But if you'd have told me even during the Souness era that I'd be more into British basketball in 2020 I'd have laughed my cock off. It's not just NUFC, it's a combination of the PL and FIFA as a whole obviously pandering to the big clubs, ensuring that they remain big clubs that has contributed somewhat to my apathy. Without kidding myself were we even in a team like Everton's position in terms of ambition I'd be forking out for a ST each year. It's that easy to win me back. As it is I'd much rather sit through 5 days of two random international cricket teams than watch 90 mins more of Mike Ashley's NUFC.

He's the worst manager in the top two divisions, surely.

I'm beginning to wonder if that was even that bad. I know it was very bad, but I keep thinking "Surely it wasn't this bad."
