He was okay, which apparently is the new 'good'. I still think we're knackered if we're relying on the likes of him. His decision making is woeful and often just runs head first into the oppo like a weak battering ram. Manquillo will always take the safe option and generally not attempt the take on but recycle posession. We've got a choice of two 6 / 10's for the position of RWB tbh.

Why bother with a proper response, he's clearly fishing.

Feyenoord already 2 down, ffs!

Fuck it, this too.

Is tonight's craic for me. Nothing too fancy, went with the dead certs.

Meh, I'm not arsed what they do, I don't care about football anywhere near as much as I used to. Maybe this takeover will reel me back in, maybe not. If it does and this happens we'll be near the top of the league playing against other decent sides that also don't have world superstars in every position. It'll make for more entertaining games in my opinion. Be like watching football in the 90's again, just with less players called Ian, Darren etc

Hope for their sake they have the world's greatest hamstring and thigh strain expert.

Stephen Hunt on the left.

Next two fixtures are easy for them, they'll be buoyant going into the Man City game.

Howler from Patricio.

We're still crying out for a more attacking centre mid, have been for years.

Wow. This made me check out his history and he's only six games away from this being his longest managerial stint at any club. Only jobs he's been in longer in calendar year terms were his Argentina and Chile national team stints. I had no idea, just thought he was cracking on age wise.

How long will he stay do you reckon?

How good was he for St. Etienne U16's KaKa[/member] ?

It was the manner of the implosion though. Having a man sent off doesn't automatically mean you've lost. Some teams pull together and work harder to bridge the gap. That day, that Man Utd team just gave in. They were carved open with ease by a Spurs team who at the time had a very average start to the season - unable to put away Newcastle at home, but finding it incredibly easy to steam roller Man Utd at Old Trafford. Howay man.

You know fine well the next self destruction episode is just around the corner. It's almost like the Spurs game never happened

He is shite. I don't see him affecting games when it's not going your way. We see the same with Bruce, and saw it with McClaren and Pardew before him. You've found a player in Bruno Fernandes who seems to get the best out of those around him. Must be a tactical genius that Ole to win all those penalties.

Cocu will be gone, they hate him and can't see Mel Morris not pulling the trigger soon. Be suicide to make Rooney player / coach though. I thiunk they're trying to do things the players just aren't capable of. Their squad is weak and Cocu wants them playing like peak Barcelona. Interestingly I think they'll go back for Clough as a cheap stop gap. They could try and tempt Allardyce...
