It's the best and the worst day of the year. It'll be my 7th derby game and my record sits: P:6 W:3 D:2 L:1 GF: 11 GA: 5

That's just brilliant. Absolutely brilliant. If there was ever a video to sum them up, that's it.

Aye, Spuds is considerably more expensive than Arsenal.

Dont think he'll start today. In Pards pre match press conference he said something along the lines of 'the lad has a big future here, but maybe not on Saturday'

Spurs 1-4 nufc on espn classic now -
Nipped in the other day for a pint during the day. All the TV's on, three members of bar staff and numerous kitchen staff etc. I was the only customer Surely cost savings there if i've ever seen any!
-
With all the deals offered out this season i was staying clear of how much that would bring in Filled seats bring in more money than empty seats. Ticket sales, programmes, food and drink, club shop, Shearer's bar etc. It all adds up.

Some journo's on twitter saying out for season. May have played his last NUFC game then
-
Just heard that Football Focus is from the sos this weekend and they're quizzing Sunderland as to why they have so much litter on the pitch
-
Watching the highlights of the derby at the sos, and the white shorts look so much better than black ones.

Garth Crooks has two Man United defenders in his team of the week, despite them conceding three goals
-
Ridiculous to think that if we'd beaten Chelsea at home we'd be 5 points clear in a Champions League spot!
-
Would be very harsh to drop him for the Wolves game with Tiote and Cabaye back.
-
I don't think he's behind Obertan per se - he's a different option for different times. When we need to stretch the game then Obertan is key - his pace is petrifying for knackered full backs. If we're a goal up and need to make sure we don't get stuck too deep, Obertan comes into his own. HBA should be coming on in tight games where we need some creativity from the centre.

PFA POTY nomination surely

How come Arsenal is a 1pm ko? Is it on tv?

If we're being pedantic, which, after a page of your petty replies it seems we are, the correct tune is: The animals came in two by two, hurrah hurrah = 13 syllables His armband proves he was a red Torres Torres = 12 syllables So it turns out that you aren't right, either. Can we stop this now? It's a bit pathetic tit-for-tat. My song had too many syllables, yours has too few. I doubt it'll make the chronicle front page.

Newcastle United vs Aston Villa - 05/02/12 @ 1:30pm (Sky) - Pre-match thread

Vs Williamson, I'd say he has the beating of him for pace, yes. Whoever plays CM alongside Guthrie has an important job to help out the CBs. Vital that we play Ben Arfa on the wing though, villas full backs are hopeless. -

On the contrary I think they'll have a go. 8 goals in their last three aways v Chelsea Arsenal and Wolves. We're certainly vulnerable to their pace. Zog Keane Bent etc are all quicker than the core of our defence.
