They have to be held accountable for their actions. If all clubs refuse to back the proposal, how can the board realistically put them anywhere other than back to the start?
-
Do we dare to dream that he could be the next Tony Popovic?
-
Schweinsteiger seems to be playing very deep for the Germans, strange considering the role he plays for Bayern
-
Did not see that coming... Cassano has been impressive this tournament I've thought.

Gomez needs to wake up a bit

Anyone seen anything in the German press?

Surely Cleverley will be in there somewhere?

http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11095/7842743/UAE-opening-for-Owen Could potentially be in talks to the middle east; i'm sure the money grabbing little cunt will love that!

Deserved to go out to be honest

If it hadn't been for some actual Glen Johnson defending (a rare sight!), we'd have been out by now!

how does it jeopardise the position ? if anything it unsettles the player and we may get him cheaper. also seems interesting that we make a bid when it's unlikely we'd be able to immediatly negotiate with the player, wink wink. It's more the fact that, if the papers can be believed, other clubs (for example Inter) are readying offers, so we could steal a march on them and perhaps scare other clubs off. It seems silly to quibble over an extra 2 million when, at that price, we'd still be getting a fantastic player for almost a pittance (how much was Hutton again?)! Don't get me wrong, if we REALLY think we could get him cheaper then that's obviously worth a shot, but thus far it seems Lille have been quoting the same figure for a long time and it's not that far over what we've offered. If someone came in and offered 2 million more than us and signed him, would you not be annoyed? Obviously it's all hypothetical but you know what I mean.
-
Why is it we have to try and jeopardise the position we're in by sending in a shitty offer like that?! Just cough up the extra 2 bloody million for christ's sake.
-
If we're signing him and keeping Tiote then it's a great sign of ambition to bring in quality squad players; however our memories never allow us to be so optimistic! Really hoping we manage to tie up a deal for Debuchy, he looks quality and will desperately fill a hole in the team!
-
Wonder what the odds of Guthrie following him to Norwich are? FWIW, the feeling down here about Hughton coming in seems very positive, not seen one negative comment thus far! Will be a tough ask for him but I reckon he's up to the job.
-
Don't all injuries have to be replaced by the "backup" players? So it would have to be Johnson or Sturridge, or am I wrong?
-
Why are they worried? Bruce will replace Lambart and Heskey will replace Holt. Because, surprisingly enough, Bruce's style of football doesn't set the world alight haha. The general concensus is that one of Malky Mackay, Lee Clark or Chris Hughton would be well received (bearing in mind Clark was here as Roeder's assistant); the likes of Mick Mackem, Stevie Brewce and Alex Mcleish not so much!
-
Grant Holt has now confirmed he wants to leave Norwich after a "disagreement". People down here are going nuts at the moment, especially with Brewcy being linked as a favourite!
-
France seem to have a lot of talented wingers at the moment (even Malouda looked good when he came on the other night!), but the way Ben Arfa linked up with Debuchy and Benzema should almost guarantee him a place I would've thought. Can't wait to see how we try to defend against him and Ribery/Menez
-
Linking up well with Debuchy already... Fate?
-
Hope no fucker wants him and he's forced to retire. Horrible little cunt.
-
Don't panic! ...just scored again for MK Dons, looks like he's found his level! Boo beaten by 3 secs!
