Just not working for us today so far, Pardew needs to change it up

The amount of times he just aimlessly boots the ball to the opposition or backs off players allowing them to either cut inside and shoot, or lay the ball off to teammates, really does overshadow his general contribution. He's a decent player for the club, but certainly not a player we should be looking to keep in the first XI going forward. I have no problems with him being a squad player, I think he's been a good servant in his time here and sometimes I think the abuse he gets is a bit OTT. On the distance covered statistic, does it mention which way he was running? Presumably backing off covered most of that distance...

Didn't think we could top the 3-0 against Manure, but this is definitely the best result of the season! What goes around comes around Kenny, dry your fucking eyes!

Was impressed with him during Tiote's absense, but yesterday I thought he was crap. Took far too long on the ball, and off the ball he was pointless, has a few games left now to earn himself a deal and needs to pull his finger out a bit.

Jamie Cuntknapp needs to shut up about him tracking back like, I thought he spent more time defending than attacking today! If we're going to continue to aimlessly punt the ball forwards, we have absolutely no need for players like Ben Arfa on the pitch!

We don't seem to be supporting each other in the final third, Ba having to work his bollocks off. Ben Arfa looks very impressive as well.

Cabaye has turned over possession far too much against a team with an incredibly fast and potent attack; surely a midfield of Tiote, Guthrie and Cabaye would have been better for us, allowing Cabaye more freedom to get forward? That said, Obertan has done ok so far, but I just can't see what he can really bring to the team in a game like this.

You know Ben Arfa will get shit for losing the ball, but how many times did he have a genuine option to back him up? Pretty disgraceful showing after half time, thoroughly deserved to drop points playing like that! Gutted.

Up against the powerhouse that is Stephen Ward, surely Ben Arfa is the logical choice...?

With the amount of times Obertan lost the ball or wasted possession yesterday, it just doesn't make sense for Pardew to say he's not playing Ben Arfa because of his ball retention!

Has Jonas right and Ben Arfa left been tried yet? Can't remember it being used like.
