Harper Simpson S.Taylor Coloccini Enrique Guthrie Smith Nolan/Barton Gutierrez Ameobi Lovenkrands I find it impossible to choose between Nolan and Barton, for me Barton is a disgrace and should've been sold/sacked a long time ago, however, i've really not been impressed by Nolan since we signed him. Barton is without a doubt, for me, the more talented footballer, but his temprement will always be a big issue.

Didn't it say that Harewood is recovering from an injury as well? If that's the case, there's no real reason to play him above Carroll, although I suppose if Harewood suffers a re-occurrance we can just cancel the loan.

I can't believe anyone can pick any holes in his performance, if Ameobi had played as well as him everyone would be saying "wow Ameobi is getting better and better", and probably likewise Carroll. He was given his opportunity to shine, and I think he showed a lot of people exactly what he's capable of.

If we win this then I genuinely think we can beat anyone. Cardiff and West Brom have been the top performers so far and we managed to hold our own against WBA (thanks to Krul especially), and if we manage to beat Cardiff on their own ground, I can't see any other teams really giving us a good go.
